You can play the HD remake: Demon's Souls, just as awesome and difficult until you master it.
This is MSFT, when they have given a final product to consumers? something you buy and don't need to think about more expenses anymore.
They market stuff as an "option" (CORE, Arcade) and even FREE (XBL silver) to later on let that people know that to get the full experience they need to upgrade (XBL Gold, HDD, even HDMI...)

IMHO K2 looks still better than U2 although GOW3 beats K2...it's a personal taste, I like graphics that make objects look organic rather than pretty (U2)

I wouldn't call it best game ever but one of the outstanding games of this generation together with MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, God of War 3 , Gears, Mass Effect, Halo 3 MP, Killzone 2, Demon's Souls...games that even after a while has gone since they were released they will still be unmatched in different departments.
there's never been a "best game ever" as that it's based on what people like and not on an average score...I know many that don't give a crap about FFVII or...
It's like the "disc-scratching" warranty they have started to offer at least here in Scandinavia, and of course all parents buying the games pays that extra EURO "just in case"

I played Batman AA after Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain and it just felt so average "good" game

Batman AA is not GOTY, far from that, it reaches the same level Bioshock did, great potential and gam designe but all the backtracking tuntin into a "almost here" game...althoúgh Bioshock is a way better game
Seriously, you neeed to not to have played Killzone 2, InFAMOUS and Uncharted 2 to think Batman AA can be GOTY....all of them SONY exclusives and has nothing to do with fanboyism...those games are easily better than Batman AA...horrible animation in cut scen...

Length doesn't really matter, if you get 8 hours full with crap, then yes I agree but otherwise it's very relative.
For instance, Heavenly Sword, it's full with just good stuff, there's no cheap backtracking, only gameplay variation all the time, that's a game and it's about what? 6-7 hours long? Uncharted another example...although it took me 10 hours every time despite of people saying it was 7-8 hours long.

I agree, it was people who decided to call it a demo, GT community is very active in Europe, people don't realize all the activities SONY organize around GT....so that was just a tool to scout out talents...I guess for the PAL territories was very clear what it was, I wasn't interested in the time trials so I never downloaded it....now, if it had been a demo...
Yeah I can confirm that, the world is going nuts for the X360, sold out everywhere, riots are reported in Tokyo, Rome, Amsterdan, Stockholm, Porto, Barcelona,...and the list goes on.

My kids watched the first 2 ToyStory last year and loved it, for them it was a new movie and they are looking forward to ToyStory 3 this year.
I'm getting this for my kids, and I hope they patch EyePet in PAL territories, MOVE is the perfect controls for that game, my kids love it!

iphone sells great as a cellphone then those users happen to discover simple games and enjoy them....but no way the "gaming" aspect is what make people get the iphone, those looking for gaming get a DS or a PSP. I'm repicking up a PSP with MGS: Peace Walker and a DS for my daughter on x-mas
