For the price it is a pretty great deal, but I would build a PC. You are looking at a much higher initial cost but it will be worth it.
Haha, I am sure X will run it in 4k. Bungie can't say anything to hurt Sony when they are taking so much money from them.
From what I have read, this seems pretty accurate. The director of the game went a bit crazy, had to take medical leave because of the pressure. They didn't feel they could pull off their vision. Understandable, I am sure we have all been in that situation where we have bitten off more than we can chew.
Now that the best versions of all games will be on Scorpio, Sony really needs that marketing.
Crimson Skies would be fun. Fable 2 would be awesome. Ninja Gaiden Black would be amazing!!!
Even though I will still be playing games mostly on PC, I do plan to get Scorpio. I prefer their online system over anything currently on the PC. Don't get me wrong, I love Steam and Battlenet is great too, but they aren't as good as Xbox Live overall.
About time. This seemed like such a logical solution. Make games tie into a monitoring system on the OS level that could report anything modifying the game outside of the games services and executables. It would break things like VORPX etc, which would kind of suck but hopefully there can be a safe list of applications.
Nier ahead of Zelda is crazy. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game but not even in the same ball park. Persona 5 is the only competitor but even that is pretty far away.
I don't think anything stands a chance VS Zelda. It is the best game ever made, so it is hard to see any game from this year beating it, let alone all the other years of gaming.
All I know is that I cannot wait! The Tower would be a cool place to have a Raid though
You do realize you just posted an article from 2013 about the Xbox One right. Good lord. This site needs to offer some tutors for the specials.
So the actual speed difference in MHZ would be around 200 if your brain can't do the math between the two. PER CORE and we are talking about 8 cores.
So basically, you have no idea.
Except we have no idea if the CPU will be a bottleneck. It is not a Jaguar chip, it is only based on Jaguar for BC. It is a custom chip with a specialized component to help offload cpu tasks to the gpu.
It isn't an actual jaguar chip, it is based on Jaguar for backwards compatibility but it is a new custom chip. We won't know how much better it actually is until we get some developers doing profiles. They also built a custom engine that helps offload cpu tasks to the gpu to take advantage of that monster bandwidth. At this point, it is all just talk though, neither you or I know what it is capable of yet.
It isn't a single core.. do the math. .2 * 8. And I never said it was 70% faster. Ps4 has 8 cores as well, obviously. It is 1.6ghz faster. Overall, not per core
It is a custom chip so it is hard to say just how much better it is. As for the speeds, it is 8 cores at 2.3 vs 8 cores at 2.1, so you are looking at 1.6 overall GHZ advantage. Which is quite a bit. Plus you are looking at a 108GB/s bandwidth difference when you are talking about the CPU and GPU working in tandem.
It is based on Jaguar, which is crap. But it also is a lot more powerful than what is in Pro.
No, they are partnered with Activision. And they will not want to hurt that partnership. Watch.
Sadly this will mean they cap Scorpio too. With Sony having such a heavy deal with Activision there is no way Sony will let Scorpio have an advantage.
Sounds reasonable. I mean Breath of the Wild can be beat in under an hour haha. Still an awesome, awesome game.
