I haven't touched my Switch since beating Zelda. Although I think I am about ready to start it over again. Such a great game.
What do you mean by trying to control it? They aren't limiting Steam in any way on Windows 10. They aren't limiting Oculus. They aren't limiting EA or any of the other stores and platforms.
It has a lot of good ideas, but the physics and gameplay in general aren't on the same level of Diablo 3. Diablo 3 is still the pinnacle of ARPG's in my opinion.
Yeah, PS4 Pro didn't really have much mass marketing either. I think we will see a push by MS once it is closer to release but this won't be a full scale new console launch. I think they will market One X to the hardcore gamers while being careful to market the S just as equally as the more affordable holiday console.
I am game for more characters packs, still having a lot of fun with Diablo 3. But the next story pack needs to have a full story level added. Doesn't have to be directly tied into the main story.
Just make it the best place to play games and they will be fine. I rarely play any Valve games on PC at this point, I just love Steam because the overall library and services work so well.

Actually they are optimized very well for gaming, as far as the hardware. The API's are as well but they are Apple specific.
Looked great, played great.. And personally didn't get any network errors which is welcome. It will be similar to Destiny 1, as in the Internet is going to cry its poor little eyes out about Destiny not being the game they wanted, while millions of other people quietly enjoy an awesome game.
New engine. Dropped support for Xbox 360 and PS3. And it does look nice! Gameplay is different too, a lot of modifications to the way things act. It feels like a new version of Destiny, which is what it is.
lol, I know right.. Some people live in their own little world. Not only did it break sales records but was all anyone talked about for about 2 years haha. Still one of the most streamed games.
True that. I have a Titan X and it's not like I can play all games at 4k with max settings and still get solid 60fps. Can I play all those games at 4k with fast fps? Yes, but not on ultra settings most times.

Would rather see the VST and Render benchmarks. Games are not really a good example for CPU benchmarks.
Haha, pretty much. All Consoles are basically just PC's now using x86 architecture. Which in my opinion is a great thing. Engine developers can optimize and iterate much faster.
Interesting that they are built in Unity. Wonder if they will be part of the Asset Store where we can just integrate them into games. That would be kind of amazing

Xbox One X is the closest to straight PC development since the original Xbox. Still not exactly the same though. PC has faster CPU reqs. Xbox One X has faster shared memory bandwidth. Developers still need to heavily optimize for each to get the most out of the platform.
Actually the VR part is worth discussing. VR on PS is kind of terrible compared to other offerings.
Yeah, the new Mario is definitely the next game I am waiting for. You must play Zelda! It is my opinion that it is the best game ever made.
