I mean the 720 screen isn't ideal for movies.. but then again it isn't really ideal for games either.
The issues is has are due to the crappy Switch. Which is hard to hold against the developers. They made a perfect game for an imperfect platform.
Zelda is worthy of the hype. I don't think it is 10 worthy like some reviews suggest, but it is the best game I have played since Bloodborne.
Just curious, but what are you looking forward to the next few months? Nothing really has caught my eye, although I am still playing Zelda so not worried quite yet.
Demand. Not a lot to play on the Switch. After Zelda users will be starving for content.
@Eddie: that is the first legit reason I have heard. Although if they are going to use DX11, then why not just release on PC and Xbox One. DX11 was made for those platforms.
@Moonman: if it doesn't fit in my pocket it isn't portable. I am not wearing no fanny pack.
@stronk: So you are saying the games won't work because you can't take it with you? Lol. Ok. I mean sure they wouldn't be portable but they would still work. I don't take the Switch with me anyway, too big.
@eagle21: I don't have a Wii U anymore.
Name me one legit reason any Switch game wouldn't work on the Wii U?
I mean, I am happy right now because of Zelda. But I would have been just as happy playing Zelda on the Wii U. Switch as a hardware is extremely disappointing.
My mini review so far. Screen is meh, low resolution and lack of glass feels especially embarrassing. Performance is pretty bad. Only game I have is Zelda, but slowdowns are abundant. Joy cons are terrible, too small, analog sticks feel cheap, buttons too small. Buttons placed in an awkward position compared to normal controllers. The dock is kind of brilliant though, hides cables well and is very easy to "switch" back and forth with, too bad it scratches the cheap plastic screen th...
with a lot of large square pixels :D
Joking aside, you are right though. That screen won't work. Too heavy as well.
Haha, I did. And so far it is worth it. Awesome game. You can always sell it when you are done lol. Although I wouldn't give it a 10 overall. Gameplay is worthy of a 10 but the loading and slowdowns have to bring it down a couple digits. I would say 9.7.

Outside of Ori, Forza and Sunset Overdrive I am not that big on the Exclusives, but I do love the seamless entertainment features. Especially since I am a sports nut so if I am not gaming I am usually watching sports. I also prefer Xbox Live's party system. And lastly nothing touches the Elite Controller.
Usually when a great exclusive comes out like Bloodborne, Horizons etc I will spend that week or two on PS4 but after I am done I go back to Xbox One until the next bi...

I picked one up at my local Toys R Us this morning. Couldn't deal with the Joy Cons anymore.
Windows Live authentication across the board was having issues this morning. Not just Xbox, but mail, skype, Windows Store etc. Seems to be fixed now though, or at least in the West Coast.
Man, if only the Developers could have made this game for PC. Don't get me wrong, it is still a great game on Switch but the Switch hardware is really holding it back.
