My condolences to his family and close friends.
Awesome. Cool looking designs.
I concur. The Wii U deserves better, though at least it'll be remembered for its amazing exclusive library.
"Wii U doesn't have games!"
*Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE story trailer*
"Em... Wii U has low sales (dang-it. Almost got caught backpedaling)."
Obviously, not everyone has shares that point of view, though it's what I read every now and then on gaming forums (I'm in favor of the Wii U is case you were wondering).
Nintendo doesn't want the showoff the NX early because they're nervous about competitors copying whatever it is they have planned for the NX (That's why the Wii U launched so early, though it failed from poor planning and their unfamiliarity with HD development). A lot of people believe the NX will suffer a worst fate than the Wii U, though that won't be the case (an opinion of my own). Wii U suffered from a lack of games, which Nintendo strategically created a system where th...
These are the type of developers Nintendo needs. Indies that are good at their craft, and develop the genres that Nintendo isn't familiar with. Next, Nintendo needs to finds indie devs whom excel at making sport titles.
The freshest of Wii U box art.
At least Nintendo supported the Wii U for as long as they did. Sony cut first party support for the Vita early, and that's something gamers (should anyways) frown upon.
This game looks amazing, damn.
I remember a game called Winback; which I played on the N64. It amazed me with it's innovative "cover feature," which I've never experienced before at the time.
There's also Nintendo's ill-fated Wii remote which encompasses computer-like mouse accuracy with its IR pointer. Hopefully the Nintendo adopts that technology into the NX.
I concur, though not fully. Nintendo should court third party developers by adopting to lower licensing fees, and also help in porting development or cost. What I don't agree with however, is getting into the battle of "advertising rights" Microsoft and Sony have seemed to gotten themselves into. Console exclusives make sense, though multi-platform exclusive DLC (with also includes platform advertising rights)?
The way the gaming industry is headed (interactiv...
R.I.P. Mr. Young.
Not what I expected from the collaboration, though I'm not complaining.
Metroid, Super Mario Universe, Wave Racer, Eternal Darkness...
Point being? It's the software that'll drive demand for the NX.
Yeah I find this shocking. The Wii U is backward compatible with Wii software and hardware, and it hasn't received the same attention, though I digress. Microsoft definitely made the X1 more valuable by adding BC.
Gaming's becoming too serious nowadays. I cringe a little anytime a casual person mentions video games, because of the reality of the "other side" (blatant fanboy-ism) of it.
This is unbelievable. The Twilight Princess 8.8 review aftermath was bad, but this!? I'm appalled by how much of an issue this is to having an actor sign a petition to remove "a person's personal opinion" from metacritic.
There at least needs to be a penalty system in place. Neogaf bans their member's over flamboyant comments, which in my opinion, is the right thing to do. Though not all website could adhere to their policies, they (gaming websites in general) should adapt to something that punishes overzealous behavior. Quantum Break for instance; has been run through the gutter averaging a "77" overall at metacritic. There're 4 reviews in the negative (Guardian, IBTimes UK, Time, and Gia...
Once you factor in Wii U's small install base, it's almost unbelievable. It's Capcom's fault no doubt.
VR could be a huge boon for baby boomers who want to relive life as their young self.
