That's whats puzzling to me. Are they barring indie developers from charging, and allowing AAA third party devs to? Who's to say developers won't disguise resolution patches in the form of DLC's? Sony needs to address this issue as clear as possible.
Makes sense. Even though the ps4/slim/pro will be able to play the same games, the last thing Sony needs to do is to pull a Sega and release consoles every 1-3 years. I remember people being upset about the Wii U lasting only 4 years, and how Nintendo were "burning their clientele."
Really great title. They should delv a "Spider-man Noir" (my favourite out of the bunch) game.
I'm not so worried about the NX now (unless playing online becomes a paid service).
Xenoblade Chronicles X. With the amount of exploring, mining for resources, and side mission stories; it's an open world adventurers dream. On top of all that, you get to control mechs!
Nintendo needs to make an HD version of Xenoblade and XCX for the NX so more people can experience the great games they are. The Last Story and Pandora's tower could also benefit from and HD remake.
The Wii U does lack features, though for a free online playing multiplayer service, it's exactly that (serviceable). Reggie brought up the most important points why the Wii U failed (terribly marketing, and lack of games), and I believe they'll (Nintendo) rectify those points with the NX.
There shouldn't be a cost for online play to being with! Sega spearheaded paying for online gaming with the Dreamcast (it might of been Nintendo with the Famicom back in the day, though it wasn't mainstream enough), and the rest followed in Sega's footsteps. At least Microsoft offers dedicated servers for their first party titles. Does Sony (honest question)?
" Maybe video gaming is too expensive a hobby for you and you should seek other hobbies."
The gaming industry has become a joke. Everyone has this weird "Sony or death (death meaning; not to play games anymore)" mantra going on. Microsoft will forever pay for their E3 blunder, while Sony gets away with console insecurity (though they've now remedied with 2FA), and the legendary "work two jobs" comment.
Though I digress.
Microsoft is trying, and I commend them for that.
LMAO! xD
Horrific news, I'm mortified. RIP madam.
I like exotic gaming hardware. Sure - it makes it a little difficult for developers to understand said system's coding logic, though once accomplished, they're (the developers) complimented with an amazing product.
Some people believe Nintendo will go with DMP's M3000 chip (which makes sense because it'll allow backward compatibility with 3DS titles). I'd love Nintendo to go with Nvidia, though it doesn't look likely.
You never know, so here's to hoping this article is spot on about the N using Nvid cards.
Same. It really looks interesting, and it's a game I'm really looking forward to. I have to find a substitute for Metroid somehow.
We went from: "We'd never pay to play online!" with the PS3, to: "PS+ offers great value!" How Microsoft and Nintendo are often criticized, Sony shoudn't looked upon as "the savoir of gaming." They make mistakes like all the other companies, and should be called out for it.
I could only imagine if Micro or Nint were the companies that had daily threads about their members getting their accounts hacked. Gamers would want nothing to do wi...
"Eidos slams Nintendo NX"
Melodramatic much? It's the equivalent of a "non answer." The title is a blatant tabloid-attention-seeking headliner.
Omg, the ultimate in gaming advertising.
Omg, this reminds me of Mischief Makers!
Yep. It just makes PC gaming all the more important.
Sign me up for Nintendo games in 1080p with 60fps (with the more demanding titles being 30fps).
