Sometimes consumer backlash is a good thing.
It's unfortunate, though it's Nintendo's job to foster a healthy relationship with third parties so their software could prosper on Nintendo platforms. Also, Nintendo platform owners need to buy third party games (stating the obvious fact that they need to buy the well developed third party games).
The Switch will suffer from a lack of third party support, though not to the extent like they did (Nintendo) we the Wii U. Indies have said (quoted by Michael Patcher...
HD rumble is legit it seems.
Lmao. You've captured the true essence of PhoenixUp, lol.
Looks interesting! Not sure it'll ship to NA, though I could always bug it from play Asia (Switch is region-free for those that don't know).
Yea! Now I hope they utilize the Switch's HD rumble so my opponents could feel the sensation of getting dunked on 😄
I believe one of the reasons Nintendo is charging for online, is to accommodate third parties (help pay for ports so low sales won't seem like a huge burden, if ever low sales should happen to that said title).
HD rumble (Haptic feedback), hipster-styled looking tablet, play at home or on the go, multiplayer right out of the box (two Joycons), new Zelda game at launch (Wii launched with Twilight Princess), better software support from Nintendo and indies.
You should be called "Phoenix Down," the way you revive the rivalry between fans of different gaming companies (Final Fantasty joke).
I just hope everyone developing for the Switch, uses its HD rumble technology. It'll make games a whole lot more enjoyable (imagine playing something like resident evil. It'd be a weird sensation getting attacked by zombies, lol).
Yes, it has. I was initially against the Nintendo Switch because of its weaker than gen 8 hardware, then I rewatched Nintendo's Switch presentation and read previews. Apparently, the Switch's "HD rumble" (Haptic feedback) is the real deal, and it makes gameplay more immersive (developers can actually program real life sensations that people experience in everyday life - like climbing ladders, filling a glass of water, or dribbling and shooting a basketball). Knowing that bot...
I'm extremely excited about the Switch having an IR pointer (at the bottom of the right Joycon) and gyros in their pro controller. Playing shooters with the Wii remote (it's IR pointer), it's hard to go back to regular styled aiming (control sticks).
Yes.
"The Pro Controller has motion controls (gyros) and amiibo support (an NFC reader directly top of the right analogue stick), along with "HD Rumble,". The pro controller also has 40 hours of battery life (as stated by Nintendo).

No wonder it's the price it is. ...
I was extremely skeptical of the Switch, then I read the impressions. The Switch's HD rumble feature is no joke. People need to experience the device for themselves it seems.
Metroid will be amazing with the Switch's HD rumble feature. Charing your shot, launching missiles, double jumps, her trademarked ball morphing - it'll be an enjoyable experience.
Lmao... Watch what Laura Kate Dale said on Twitter (in regards to the Switch's HD rumble feature);
LKD: "The haptic rumble in the joy cons is oddly good, more interesting than standard rumble. Milked a cow, it felt like jerking someone off lol."

Just thinking about the possiblities. Baseball when you hit ...
Someone'll use it... (*CoughSenranKaguraCough*).
I'm digging the hat mechanic.
The Switch is region-free, so that shouldn't be a problem if you learn Japanese.
Wii to Wii U, now Switch... Bullshit Nintendo.
"I think that audience is lost to mobile phones and tablets."
Why is Nintendo basing their online networking on mobile devices? 🕵🏻
