They're not necessarily bad.

GT is 1080p(1280x1080). Forza is 720p.
When Forza 4 gameplay (not the menu/photo models you've seen) look better than GT5 gameplay, then you may talk.
Forza STILL CAN'T touch GT5's lighting.

It's not about 360 not being able to render a good looking game. It's about having good first-party studios to render games like this.

There's nothing unique about Rage looking good on 360 be...

Looks good, visually.

But I noticed the animations are kinda PS2-ish. The good kind at least. Like Jak and Daxter or Ratchet & Clank LOL.

Also, there's WAY too much motion blur, even when walking.
Maybe it was just this video.

I still don't care about post First-person post-apocalyptic games. But this game actually looks more f...

What are you talking about? Follow Nintendo?

The Vita (formerly known as NGP) was unveiled half a year before the Wii-U.

It's NOT just a $250 controller.
Do you know what its identity is? It's a full-fledged portable gaming system. The fact that it has more features doesn't mean that it lacks "identity".

You don't know what people want. And no, the PS Vita isn't just for "PS3 ports" as you call...

...the PS Vita is a full-fledged portable gaming system.
While he Wii-U's controller is only, well, a controller with a screen that can't be taken anywhere outside of the room.

So, not EVERY game needs to support this feature as it's not part of the PSV's or PS3's gimmick, unlike the Wii-U. PSV and PS3 are two beasts on their own and don't exactly NEED each other. But more features like this is always welcome.

The touch screen definitely has its uses.

Motion controls, to me, only offered another way to explore gameplay. But I don't feel it really made it any better.
There are some games I wish it didn't force me to use them.

But again, yes, gameplay is always first.

Not exactly first-party. But they have a partnership for multiple titles and for years.

There.

@article,
I'm sorry, but the Wiimote(motion controls) don't make gameplay any better.

However, gameplay is still more important to me.

I don't have time to tell you about stat building and attributes.

That may be so, but Sony won't "kick Nintendo out of the game".

Sony took a chance with the PSP and managed to get 70 mil units sold worldwide. It didn't "beat" the DS sales-wise, but it successfully broke into the handheld market.
Now with the PS Vita, Sony is coming in strong, guns blazing.

3DS may definitely have a harder time than its predecessors. But Nintendo itself won't be out of the game.

Well those first party franchises didn't help the N64 and GameCube too much against the PS1 which came out with brand new franchises and PS2.

But then again, Sony didn't really kick "Nintendo out of the game".

Funny thing is that Pokemon is actually more of an RPG.

Don't you have any PC games you should be playing?

There's a difference.
The PSP had one anolog nub. The PS Vita has dual-analog sticks.

Vita will be more practical for use as a controller and for possibly more games than the PSP could.

Yeah, they can't left those out.

There's still more to be announced at TGS and possibly GamesCom.

XDR DRAM

There are games already running on the Vita.
They can't just cut RAM in the middle of game development.

The specs will be good enough to run this smoothly:

...with 70 million PSPs sold worldwide.

But here's the thing about the PSP and DS(soon PSV and 3DS)
* Their target audiences are different.
* Their games are different.

And frankly, because they are so different, a lot of people can easily get both (minus the hardcore fanboys on N4G that pretend people only buy one).

Old school stuff is great.

I think what he meant was something along the lines of Sony not trying to appeal to the Mario crowed(?) ....I think

Vita already has a good amount of games announced more than half a year away from release.
More games to come on GamesCom and TGS. Can't wait for TGS!
