@Best
Not only are you comparing sales with a device that hasn't even been released yet. But you're also comparing a gaming system with a tablet. Two different things with different purposes.
More polish (for games and other software in the system).
Better than to have things rushed.
More games at launch. The bigger the software line-up, the better the launch.
A lot of games coming out later this year. It's a bit crowded.
Agree.
On a another note. How many more articles are they going to make on the same tired subject?
Right, because $1 - $5 mini-games are the same thing.
As a gamer, tablets and phones are no competition. Touch -only controls or keypads are terrible for real games.
Maybe the casuals will enjoy phones more.
@Peaceful_Jelly, there's more to a game than a minor graphical upgrade. Assuming you're judging based on the Multiplayer Beta and not the Single-player (where it counts the most).
As long as physical copies exist, you can always find cheaper deals for either new or pre-owned games, online or at a store.
If everything becomes DD, the publishers will have control of all sales, keeping prices as high as they would want to.
Are you serious? You only focused on the word "gesture".
There's a difference between flailing your limbs in the air and advanced touch-screen controls.
You're comparing a camera with a handheld gaming system with buttons.
Here you are again, lol.
Is your 21.5" PC monitor a 3D-HDTV set? Can it display two full-screen images at once for co-op? 3D glasses?
Does the bundle include a game? Oh, it's not a bundle?
No? Nothing?
Voice is possible.
Mo-cap, probably not. Pricey stuff.
Metal Gear Solid 3. Jungle survival.
The man makes a good point. Why disagree?
As long as it's not another FPS....
WTF is there to disagree about? I was only clarifying what the article said.
I never agreed with it, minus the Dead Space 2 comment.
What are you blabbering on about in that wall of text?
You're right about the price drop not really alienating anyone. And you're right about it restating the obvious about the tech specs.
BUT everything else in that quote, as harsh as it it is, is technically correct.
Last time we saw a Darkstalkers game was in 1997.
I don't think it's a bad idea.
Will we ever see a new Darkstalkers game?....
Aren't you going to customize your character anyway? Isn't that the point?
They got rid of the FemShep from the first 2 games for some strange reason. We all knew the blonde one was going to win whether people voted for her or not, lol
That's a big "IF" right there. And no one knows when or if they'll but analog sticks, D-pads and responsive face buttons.

@Saladfax
And I could run a Super Nintendo emulator on my PSP which is over 6 years old. In fact, it could be ran on almost anything.
Again, it's not about power. You don't have the proper controls to play a game on your phone.
As long as Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft(?) are a...
I think it's best to launch the PS Vita with multiple game options, than to release now with little to no software.
It also gives us more money and time to spend on some pretty great games coming out later this year.
The games are sub-HD.
Ok that may be a bit harsh.
But how about Level 5? They weren't gonna buy them, but Level 5 was working on a game for M$ and were treated like...not very good.
M$ has a problem letting developers do what they want.
