The PS Vita's features are great for portable gaming. It's got a multi-touch scree(which the casual phone gamers like), a multi-touch pad, PLUS proper face buttons, D-pad and dual-analog sticks for better gaming.
That's gotta attract some casuals.
Not only that, but Sony is providing a great software line up and have made the Vita very developer friendly(for indie devs and big names as well).

Well we do know some basic stuff about the Wii U.
Such as PS3/360-like graphics. Touchscreen on tablet-like motion controller to interact with certain parts of exclusive games and play mini-games.
You can also display the game running on the Wii U console on the controller-thing, but can't leave the room as it still uses IR like the Wii.
And what exactly is your definition of "lose"?
Hype for the PSV is bigger than the PSP so far, that system sold a decent 70mil, which is considered a success from Sony breaking into the handheld market for the first time.

It's more or less the same as the original FF13.
Gameplay and combat are exactly the same. Everything is the same except for the maps which have been slightly broadened with added forks.

There's nothing wrong with a cinematic approach.
Naughty Dog could easily make action scenes into video/cutscenes. But they choose to put you right in the middle of it, letting you experience it first hand. Uncharted is one of the few games ...

Same here. I didn't think dust was an issue. Isn't the plastic cover meant to protect the disc from scratching?
I actually think the only issue with UMDs was the fact that it was slooow.
360 could have benefited from HD-DVD IF it was even built into the system for gaming. But it wasn't. It was sold as a separate device to play movies.
But good thing the PSV will be using new NVG cards.
