I don't have xbox One there for, I don't care. What I do have is Steam, Origin, and Netflix and Amazon Prime. And all of of those are consistently more reliable than the PSN has ever been. Even when the entire internet was under attack a few years ago, when online services suffered connectivity issues, The big three of Steam, Amazon and Netflix responded faster and restored services more quickly than Sony.

ESO is nothing like the game it was at release. The huge amount of bug squashing and improvements prety much turned this into a brand new game. For one, the combat is tight and responsive now and it feels great.
If you like story telling and questing in your MMO then this game has quality content for months.
I agree. But this service isn't directed at people with 3 TVs in a house hold like myself. It's for the single cord cutters who are living on a budget.
You know what would wow me? If the PSN can actually stay up and provide quality performance during the Holidays.

I have 3 TVs in my house 2 of which are 4Ks, all of them are Samsung. But this year I think Sony has a winner by going with Google TV. Samsung Tizen OS looks interesting but I don't think it'll get any support outside of Samsung.
The author is looking for a Bioware type RPG which is something I wouldn't mind.
Look at the fanboys defending this. If this is an Xbox service people would be laughing their ass off. But price isn't the only issue. It's the quality. Since this is a streaming service it shouldn't tied to the platform of the game, and the quality of streamed game should be independent of my hardware.
In other words, if I'm streaming Xcom I should get the PC quality Xcom with PC quality textures. I shouldn't get the PS3 Xcom with low res console texture...
$20 would be fine if the service can take advantage of nature of streaming games but it doesn't do that. The beauty of streaming games is that it's basically an app, like Netflix or Youtube. It should be available on multiple platforms and the quality of the content is not dependent on your hardware.
This rip off doesn't do that. When I'm streaming Darksiders 3, I should get the PC quality Darksiders 3. Not the PS3 version of Darksiders 3 with shitty textures ...
We can't even reach 1080p in all games, nevermind 60 fps. Thats how under powered these consoles are. When I rushed out to preorder my PS4 I thought 1080p would be a sure thing. I thought nobody would bother releasing a console that can't do 1080p as a base feature.

Well I'm sorry to see them go, but I'm also excited about the future. Hopefully IGN will replace them both with chicks with huge boobs.

There is no such thing as a 1080p tech marvel. The very term, 1080p, implies average. To be a marvel the hardware must be capable of resolutions beyond that.
A 970 GTX can be OCed like crazy. The Xbox...not so much.
Yup this game has the best of both worlds. The open world exploration gamer and the story line gamer in me are completely satisfied. However people who expects a linear corridor RPG like DA: Origins will not be pleased by the lack of clear direction and a less finely honed story arch.
Personally I love this new approach. The main story is there and awaits when I'm inclined or I can explore other areas and discover side quests and back ground events as I wish.

Steam sales are absolutely evil. They convinced me to buy AC: Unity and Ryse.
So our hobby involves playing murder sims like GTA 5 where we can murder hookers and gun down random people by the truck loads is not offensive.
But if some dude print a magazine where a wanna be porn star has her boobs out while holding a controller. Thats offensive?
