There is nothing wrong with paying money for the best looking shooter on the console. Even if the gameplay is meh, I'll still be ok with it as long as it doesn't straight up suck.
All limited editions are lame. Look at the CoD theme Xbox or the Mass Effect and BF4 headphones. I simply hate it when my hardware are devoted to one game. Sure I might like Bloodborne today, but two years from now I might be into something else. Why would I want it's image tattooed to my console?

This is an exciting promo. But can they actually do it? The resolution and refresh rate has got to be just right or else nobody is going to put up with the fuzzy Star Wars style holos that requires a headset.

This game will be average as hell. But I don't care. If you're a PS4 owner then getting this for the graphics alone is justification enough. The QTE sequences don't bother me one bit, as long as the experience is good enough to immerse me in the adventure. In short I'm treating this game as a trigger happy Tell Tale game without all of the annoying decisions and forced dialog.
I hate it how devs would publish great gameplay vids on the PC to hype the game then pull a huge downgrade on the console. It's bullshit. The signs of PC graphics are everywhere, the 1st give away is the consistent and high resolution texture quality. The second is the very high frame rate.

Anyone else concerned that the most of the vids on this game are on the PC? I know it looks great on the PC and smooth as hell, but I plan on getting this for the PS4. Hopefully it won't be too much of a downgrade.

It's Sony. Look at the rest of their "free to play" games. It's either pay to win or a massive grind fest unless you pay a sub/cash. They don't believe in the concept of only charging for cosmetics. To truely enjoy any of their free to play games you will need to pay a sub at one point or another unless you're willing to be at a second last citizen.
The difficulty in this game lies not in the challenge but rather the repetition. That is my main beef Souls genre. Dying means you have to kill everything in the entire level again on your way back without a hint of variety. If I'm going to do an entire level again then I would rather have rouge like elements similar to Spellunky where the game would randomized the dungeon layout so no two runs are the same. This would make death interesting other than a corpse run to recover your souls. ...

I stopped watching as soon as I saw the door loading screen. It pushed aside everything I love about this game and instantly reminded me of everything I hate.

It's only a "waste" if you're a peasant. 24 inch screens are usually 1080p and cheaper, thus requiring less expensive hardware on your setup. I prefer 1440p gaming which works best with 27" monitors.
That is a half assed solution. So in order to interface with my device properly I need to reduce the work space in half? It's something Samsung would've done, not a company like Apple. The truth is that Apple simply do not have the right OS for this screen size, so right now this incredibly lame short cut will have to do.
