I have this on both the PS4 and the PC. My 1st play through was on the PC and my second play through is on the PS4 for the trophies. After experiencing the game on both platform, the choice is easy.
The PC crushes the console version in graphics and frame rate. At 1440p and ultra settings there's no contest or illusion of parity. The PC looks crystal clear with amazing textures and depth.
But if you want to stream or need to do live recording the PS4 ver...
I want another BG game. But not from these guys. They're cash garbing hacks without any real ability what so ever since their re-release of BG was buggy as hell. The people with real talent, the real developers, are releasing Pillars of Eternity this year which should be a spiritual successor to BG.
These guys, they're just standing on the shoulders of giants and asking you to pay $25 for mod of a mod.
Unless you are blind, this is an obvious sign of FTP implementation. TERA went through the same deal, right before the game went FTP. All of the retail copies vanished as any account with a retail key were awarded founders status when the FTP servers went live.
This is a troll article with no basis on reality. The competition in the console market will never allow another PS2. If the PS4 start approaching this level of success then MS will merely roll out an upgraded Xbox One with superior specs. Hell, there's already another Nintendo console in the works. And that's just competition from other consoles. Today there's phones and tablets to contend with as well, competition doesn't exist in the PS2 era.
Capcom is a shadow of what it used to be.
Exactly. This is an "experience" game. One where you'll play it for 8-10 hours and toss it on the shelf. These types of games I buy at a discount or Gamefly it. The fact that the gameplay isn't wowing in the previews is a concern too.
Got this from Steam for $20. Totally worth it and it looks great.
Yup. And when you have a massive library of games and a backlog to match, hard games will simply get dropped. This why I never bothered to play the Souls game for more than a hour. Challenge is great but if that's what I seek, then I can find that in any game.
You're only as good as your last game. And if the next game is good then Ubi will be making bank again.
This list SUCKS. This is basically Joe picking on F list games, the kinds which his audience would never considering playing. I mean, really. Duck Dynasty as the worst game? Who cares?
Put Destiny or Rome: Total War on this list and we'll have something to talk about.
And now we need a piece for console gamers (tons of material), hand helds, and mobile gamers.
This is the most well thought out post for boobs that I have ever read. Bravo sir. And I agree. The gaming industry is trending toward "realistic" female figures and frankly I find that to be dull.
Sexiest men screenshots of all time will not get hits.
Sooooo...
1. The author is gay.
2. Guys who dance with each other at the tower are probably gay.
3. Guys who are helpfully and are team player is probably gay, and they're only doing this to charm you with gay hook ups to follow.
Actually everything I suspected about Destiny is true. No wonder I hate this game with a passion.
A lot of people can't play FPS because it gives them motion sickness. Yet the FPS genre is freaking huge. But having tried the OR at E3 there is no way in hell I want to spend hours strapped to one. The problem here isn't comfort. It's not being able to do real world stuff while gaming.
The most annoying thing is I can't even drink my Soda with one on because I can't see the real world! Just think about it, having to rip the OR off your head all the time f...
This thing is a law suit waiting to happen.
There is no way this thing can come in at $1500. Try $2500. It has dual 980 GTX, those usually goes for $550 EACH. That is an ungodly amount of GPU power! Nobody needs that much horse power to play games at 1080p unless they consider BF4 to be unplayable if it dips below 100 fps.
The real target audience for this is a PC gamer who wants to play his Steam games on his 4K TV, in 4K. Other than that, nothing else makes sense. It so happens that I do have a 4K TV and would be int...
If I have to guess, I would venture that a considerable amount of new PS4 owners are actually PC gamers. Since the PS4 is basically a custom Linux box with PC hardware, the appeal and familiarity is obvious to most PC gamers. I know of at least 3 friends who considered console gaming as "for peasants" but now own a PS4 because they think along those lines.
"The Power of the Cell" sounds like idiotic marketing garbage to them. But drop X86 AMD Jaguar cores ...
My console is too big. Said by no one ever.
Makes perfect sense. This is nothing more than good marketing research.
