That would make it 3x more powerful than the PS4. Even then the Sony fanboys will flip it around and tell you that resolution is not important but parity is important.
Yup, and I bet their hardware will blow Sony and MS out of the water. I think the console market is prime for another party to enter and clear the field like when Sony did with their first Playstation. Because right now between Sony and MS, these two just isn't getting it done anymore. The hardware is just too similar and under powered.
The fact that 1080p and 60 fps isn't a locked in spec is just astoundingly short sighted.
There is nothing "beastly" about these specs.
I'm looking forward to the Witcher 3 but the combat is still a concern for me. The developer demo showed some really dance-cy combat still. This is a problem which plagued the series in the past and I was hopping that they would move away from all these elaborate back stepping and twirling attacks. Ideally the combat should be somewhere between Dragon Age: Inquis and Dark Souls.
This game looks AMAZING on the PC. On most games, the gap between the nexgen console isn't that far apart aside from the higher resolution and better textures here and there. But in Unity the gap between the PC and the PS4 is freaking huge.
Comparing the difference between the PC version of Unity that I got for free from Nvidia and my PS4 Gamefly version, it looks like the PS4 version had all of the texture details rubbed out into a blurry mess.
Casuals plat their games? I have zero plats and I've been gaming since the PS3 day 1.
While there is a difference it is irrelevant to the end users. All that matters is that Sony, a billion dollar corp failed utterly at every turn when faced with securing and ensuring the the stability of the network to when the customers need it most.
Let me ask you this. If a similar attack is launched against Amazon, Netflix, and Steam, how would they response? Do they think these companies would tolerate their services being down for three days and what measures would they...
Dragon Age Inqusition had a pretty smooth launch. So I'm not sure why you guys are worried.
This article was writen by a drooling simpleton.
What we have here is a linear gamer. People who doesn't like options or exploring in their RPGs. They prefer a guided tour through the storyline, instead they were given Southern Thedas to run around in, got confused and became disinterested.
Their lost. I have zero interest in that sort of RPG. That's last gen and has been done a billion times. DA: Inqusition is clearly a GoTY if you like to explore and embrace your role as a new power in Thedas. In that aspect this ...
Completely disagree. People who thinks this game plays like a MMO are clueless. It's that or you guys prefer corridor games where you're locked in and guided down a path like sheeps.
My new year resolution is to not depend on the PSN for my gaming needs on Xmas. We all know what is going to happen to this network during the Holidays.
Who said it was a hack? And stop trying to troll "it's not a hack" as if somehow that makes it ok. When a billion dollar company can't figure out a way to keep it's service up for three Xmas in a row, then you have issues.
Considering how Sony is repeatedly getting their pants pulled down and raped by hackers, they have zero chance of keeping the PSN online for 2015 Xmas. That's the most depressing thing about it. Real companies like Steam, Netflix, and Amazon have robust infrastructure to prevent this sort scenarios and they response swiftly to restore service.
For Sony it's just another Xmas where the PSN goes down. AGAIN.
This is a show I watch rather than listen to so Podcast doesn't do it for me. I can't see Hex in a Podcast LOL.
I wonder what Holiday specials will Sony feature on the PSN next year? Seeing how Sony have proven to be utterly defenseless against these attacks they might as well not bother. Just preemptively shut down the nextwork for "maintenance" and save yourself the shame.
Mantle's struggle for relevance is the least of AMD's concerns. Right now this company desperately need to have a tech answer for the Nvida's Maxell GPU before they're crushed out of existence. If you combine this with AMD's absence of market share in the laptop and mobile market place, the outlook is incredibly bleak.
If you're a billion dollar company and you can't solve the riddle of how to keep your service up during two consecutive Holidays then you no right to be in business.
Lets face it, Sony are amateurs compared to the real pros like Steam, Amazon, and Netflix. Lets put it this way, if Lizard Squad decides to go after Steam, Netflix and Amazon the same way it goes after Sony, who is going to win this contest? I guarantee you that Lizard Squad won't be as successful or...
Oh the joys of console gaming. The piece of turd that is the PSN is down. Again! No Dragon Age Inquisition for me. Steam and Origin are still up. Remind me, why do I have a yearly sub to these hapless armatures?
There is no way in hell this game is a GOTY. It's the worst of the Infamous series. Everything from plot, characters, to gameplay is totally subpar.
