I can list all of the games that I want to play in pro mode but I don't think anyone want to scroll down that far. But they should at least get Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 in there.
Come'on Sony. If I spend $400 to upgrade my PC GPU I'll get a massive increase in performance and graphics in all my games. If I upgrade my PS4 to a Pro I'm not even getting support for 10% of the games I own. Do something about this value proposition please.
For a system named Pro it is stacking up cons left and right. The massive library of games that doesn't support the Pro is simply pathetic.
One good thing about NBA2K is that you don't need a top of the line card to do 4K. My 980 GTX does 4K in 2K16 easily.
The "developer choice" line is a total disappointment. It belies the lack of power in the PS4 Pro. There shouldn't be a choice between better graphics and 60 FPS. It should be both.
If it can then will BF1 be in native 4k?
Yeah I thought so.
This explains the slow death of Japan core gaming really.
Shit I don't have Spotify but damn that's cool.
4K and HDR is a gimmick that the companies use to sell hardware to the consumer sheeps. They both do not effect gameplay like maxed out 1080p graphics and 60 FPS. Unfortunately crispy high res 1080p textures and 60 FPS requires power, real power. So instead of delivering that they gave us 4K upscaled fakery and a HDR dog and pony show.
I do not care about brighter whites or darker blacks in Darksouls 3 and Bloodborne. I care about 60 FPS and silky smooth performance that do...
Is there crossplay with this game? I might check it out on PC to see what's it with Xbox gamers.
I preordered the PS4 Pro on Amazon. Now I hate myself. It's like upgrading my PC with a $400 GTX 1070 but instead of getting amazing graphics and performance I only get support for 10% of my games and it can't even do 60 FPS in.
Sigh. Not like I have a choice, there isn't a better console out there right now.
If this drops to $20 I'll give it a try on the Windows Store. It'll be the first Windows Store game it'll play.
Both. Choosing is for the poor.
Nobody cares about these free games. They're garbage. Most PS Plus members don't even bother and the "savings" are so damn low that it's an insult like .99 off some trash game.
Most people pay for PS Plus for the online play and with the price increase, there are even less people playing online.
LOL begging for what, Until Dawn, The Order and No Man Sky? Oh wait, No Man Sky is multiplat.
You know what I'm really begging for? 60 FPS as a baseline.
Remove the shitty 30 FPS from my glasses as well. Where is Bloodborne, Darksoul 3, Witcher 3 and Destiny in 60 FPS?
Because it doesn't support Atmos it's useless? What a clueless comment. The addition of the Bluray 4K is a value add, and cement the premium status of a console that is dependent upon scaling gimmick instead of true native resolution.
This is supposed to be the top of the line console of this gen. It needs to do either 1080p 60 FPS as a baseline or bring 4K media to the masses. It does neither.
Ultimately all 4K TVs can stream 4K with built-in app...
Unlike the PS4 Pro, this did not disappoint.
99% of gamers knows jack shit when it comes to sound, PC and console gamers included. They fall prey to "gaming headset" which all sounds like ass with exorbitant prices and 7.1 gimmicky frauds.
But that aside the lack of per profile switching is like hand cranking your car to start the engine in the morning. It's so outdated that it's not even funny.
Sony need to stick to their guns. You can't flaunt the power of the PS4 and the "specs matter" and "resolution matter" narrative then turn around and do a half assed upscaling like Xbox. Because that is exactly what the PS4 Pro is, it's the new Xbox One.
The Xbox One is a 1080p console that can't do 1080p.
The PS4 Pro is a 4K console that can't do 4K.
Ironic really.
I'm extremely worried that BF1 will not support the Pro. The threat of playing another BF game at 900p 30 FPS with my Pro is horrifying. What is the god damn point.
