They had console gamers by the balls since day 1 with the pay to play online robbery. They have developers by the balls too since both Sony and MS charge the developers money to release patches on their network. This is the problem with gaming and walled gardens. They're basically set up to trap you inside and rape your wallet.
I read somewhere that Sony charge developers to release patches. Some can run up to 40K per patch so while the developers want to release them for free, they still have to pay Sony to give you something for free. So it's not entirely the developers fault.
When I upgrade my PC with a new GPU, the improvement is immediate. Everything runs better, looks better. I get my 60 FPS and whatever resolution I'm targeting without any fuss or waiting for the "4K patch". So why I shouldn't I expect the same for the Pro and the Scorpio? This is what Sony and MS need to get right, if you're going to provide upgrades, then do it right. It's not an upgrade if it only works for 10% of the library and all the old games get left behind. ...
LOL!!
Agreed. Crossplay with only MS exclusives isn't going to bring PC gamers to the Windows Store. Thats like what, 3 games while the rest isn't even out? Pffft. This isn't a feature. It's more like false advertising. It's like saying that Xbox support mods, when out of the entire library of Xbox games only Fallout 4 actually support mods.
You know what else is funny? I have never own a Xbox in my entire life. Typical fangirl logic at work. Because I criticise Sony I must be a Xbot. Typical AAA troll.
This is what passes for realistic now a days?
I wonder what risk Ubisoft is taking to make staying independent even matters.
What's in store is a 15% PS Plus subscription price increase. They're right, I can't believe it.
Capcom, number 1 developer? Not if they keep cranking out those remastered crap.
This guy's voice over made the game better LOL.
The video shows him fighting level 15 enemies where no change is taking place. Meh.
Ban them forever.
Is it out on PC yet?
60 FPS is not a little difference. It's huge. It's a difference that not only impact the visual but the gameplay as well. There's no way in hell I'm playing a racing game at 30 FPS. Not having 60 fps is a deal breaker.
I have a custom build Steam HTPC and I still game in 1080p. It's not that bad and since 1080p 60 FPS is so incredibly easy to reach it keeps the price low. My desktop is 2K of course.
Looks like MS and Sony are slowly switching places. Their support for mods brings amazing value in games going forward. For example I sure as hell do not want to play Xcom 2 without mods.
He's right. Core PC gamers are arrogant. They expect things like 60 FPS and native resolution. Something the Pro can not do.
Great, now I can use the menu in HDR. Thanks Sony!
The day that upscaled fakery can be considered native is the day that gaming dies.
