The SWJs who don't play the games will be outraged by this. But the real outrage to real gamers should be the price of the DLCs.
They featured PS Plus as a reason...LOL. How about that price increase folks? Yeah best reason to own a PS4 right there. Online gaming price gouging awaits.
Oh hai guys. We increased our price by 20% no reason. Oh whats that? You're stuck in the console ecosystem so deal with it.
Price hikes awaits!
Agree 100%. Remember the good Sony back in the PS3 days when they were in second place? This is what happens when there's a lack of competition in the console walled gardens people. The fanboys will now reap what they sow.
Because focusing on console gamers really helped Titan Fall right? Riiiight. So how did Titan Fall 1 do...oh yeah. It bombed.
The PC is where average or over hyped AAA games goes to die. If you're an overhyped AAA game with a bloated $60 price tag, words will spread like wildfire and everyone on Steam starts pressing their refund button like mad. It's not like the console where an average AAA game like No Man Fail can coast on hype to sales success.
This didn't sell on the console either. So...
What is with the Japanese and their need to white wash their own game. I know they want to sell to the Western market but seriously, white guy samurai?
So with this brilliant logic this service is aimed at nobody. Casual gamers are not going to pony up a subscription service to play ancient games and there's little chance that they are going to have a dual shock laying around or have the internet connection for a good experience.
I love BF but I gotta admit. The time period and the gameplay doesn't exactly gel. It simply doesn't offer a WW1 experience, but rather a steampunk WW1 game where everyone runs around with automatics and semi-automatics.
An overpriced sub service to stream last gen games at 30 fps? No thank you. Good luck getting PC gamers to pay for this.
LOL this is great.
The word got out and the hype died. Stay away, stay far far away.
LOL $10 price increase. The hubris is astounding. Haven't they learned anything from the last gen? You might not always be number one Sony!
Don't care about Slim. Tell me about the Neo.
$60 indie bore fest is what it really is. Exploring is all well and good as long as there are interesting to discover but that's impossible in No Man Sky. For example you will never ever find a planet a populated an advanced space faring civilization or take part in a conflict between civilizations. Even the animals you do discover are just mindless creatures wandering around. They have no real role in the planet's ecosystem, there's nothing interesting about them to discover. <...
Here you go Master Race, 20 FPS confirmed.
Release the DLC already!!
There are plenty of character interaction VRs in the western market. They're called porn VR. I'm sure this game will fit right in.
I don't care what team those games are made by, the games are all published by Ubisoft and they refuse to invest in cheat detection which lead to rampaging hackers on the PC and pervasive community clearing exploits on the console.
Not to be a hater but they haven't shown a god damn thing. There is still no "game" behind all of this yet. I backed the project back in the days and I'm still waiting to see something that resemble an actual product instead of a press demo of a module. But even that isn't my real concern. My real concern is how much money do they have left to make the game they promised, something tells me that they will run out of money way before that.
