so tired of sites that put each individual item on a different page for lists. i was genuinely interested to see what the list was, but once i saw it would be 20 pages of clicking, i X'd out.
i get why they do it, but it's so annoying for readers.

these heroic guides really help. i've used a few of the decks and they've worked quite well. they're also not expensive decks either.
no, not even in the discussion for best game ever. i LOVED playing The Last of Us, but its main selling point was saying, "look, Hollywood, we can copy you in video game form!" i mean, it's cool to see cinematic games like that, especially when they're so well done, but the game did nothing to push gaming forward. the combat was nothing new, the gameplay in general was nothing new. was it bad gameplay? hell no. but it did nothing to push gaming forward. it was basically just...
Warcraft as well.
i got it at a huge discount for Steam. i knew it was supposedly a disappointment, but i wanted to give it a shot.
from the second i clicked the icon to launch the game, it took about 20 minutes until the first cutscene started. the load times were ATROCIOUS. i don't know why or what the problem was. i have a high end PC, so it wasn't my machine's problem.
anyways, i gave up on that crap before i got to play a single second of it. i just hit ctrl...
this is honestly the first game i've seen that makes me want to use a VR headset. VR can be amazing if done right, such as building a game around it like these developers apparently did. if it's just VR tacked on to any old pre-existing game, then it doesn't really add much. but something like this can really immerse you in the game more and make the experience that much more authentic.
i really wish i had an Oculus Rift so i could try this out.

there is a PS3 emulator for PC:

i love the look and feel of the trailer (or whatever you want to call it), but i noticed that it's called an action RPG. does this mean ARPG in the sense of something along the lines of loot-driven stuff like Diablo? i love the idea of open world, quest-driven RPGs, but the thought of mind-numbingly boring loot grind fests and just mindlessly fighting through waves of enemies saddens me.
is it just me, or did they take the gameplay video down? when i click on the link it takes me to a page saying it's not found, and neither of the two Sunset Overdrive articles on the front page of their site have videos in them.
is the PS4 version going to be 60fps as well? if so, then that's pretty impressive with screenshots like those. if it's just 30fps, then meh. hopefully it's the former, though.
i'm a massive fan of Demon's Souls, and i loved Dark Souls 1 as well. with that said, though, i'm not the least bit excited about this. why? because it looks like yet another Souls game, but with tweaks. i get that they're good at making Souls games and they have a formula going, but the formula has already worn out on me. i want to see them take things in a new direction and show that they can make different game instead of the same game three times in a row with subtle diffe...
the PS4 was not developed with all this hardware that people like to boast about just to rehash games that people missed out on last gen.
if you didn't get to play a game on the PS3, too bad. go get a PS3 and play it. leave the current gen tech for (hopefully) new and innovative experiences.
not gonna lie, i saw the top left picture and i was like, "what? that's easy to tell, it's clearly the google maps Chicago." then i realized that row was the Watch Dogs pictures. impressive to say the least.
this article hits the nail on the head for almost every point. i'm someone who has watched hundreds of hours of Hearthstone gameplay (via Kripparrian's twitch channel), and i've also spent some time playing the game.
like the article says, the game itself is tons of fun. both the design and mechanics are a joy to play with, and the game is presented with Blizzard's usual flair.
the problems, though, lie in how certain game modes are handled, o...
it's a difficult topic, because some platforms have problems with digital, while others are less prone to those problems. and there are also problems that can affect all platforms and need to be fixed.
as far as consoles go (and the occasional PC game), it is a travesty that you should have to pay full retail price for a digital copy of a game. for the most part, PC gamers don't have this problem, because most games are $40-50 new and sometimes vastly cheaper on sale....
i'm an atheist too, and i would still love more games based in Christian, Islamic, and Hindu mythology. Greek, Norse, and Roman mythologies are awesome, but they seem to be the only ones people go to nowadays for storytelling or influence based in mythology.
i think part of the problem, though, is that since people still believe in the former ones i listed, people aren't as prepared to make games based on them as they are based on ones that everybody accepts as mythol...
i disagree with your implication that virtual reality is just viewing a game in a different way.

watch this video for a good explanation of how virtual reality can change how games are designed and experienced. they can become more about immersion and the way you interact with the world and people in it, and less about needing some combat system or intricate ...
i wouldn't say she's completely different than Cammy. first of all, she's just a re-skin visually. second, her fighting stance and normal moves practically mirror Cammy's. she also has a move that is very similar to Cammy's Spiral Arrow special attack.
i do agree that some of her special attacks, ultras, and the fact that she's a charge character give her a unique approach. but she's definitely not built from the ground up to be an original charact...
i have a question that i'm sure somebody here can answer. back when the system was announced and they talked about all the features it would have, i remember them mentioning that you could be playing a game, and your friend could be watching you play that game from the livestream or whatever. and if you wanted, you could give your friend permission to take over for you and play the game remotely. so the friend would be at their house, and they could access your game and beat a boss for yo...
calling a system or a game hardcore or casual isn't really accurate. it's about how you approach the game. i could casually play something like Dark Souls, just by messing around with it in my spare time, not caring about what builds are good, having fun, maybe dying a lot, w/e. but i could spend 8 hours a day playing Farmville or Angry Birds (believe me, i don't lol), thinking of all the best strategies, coming up with new ideas, posting on forums about the game, etc.
