The more A the more ravenous the fanatics. A-AAA has no place in the consumer realm and most media outlets. Leave it for studios and publishers. Let's not butcher the meaning any more shall we?
They really delivered on this one. The original SSX is by far one my favorite games from the PS2 era (especially from a game design standpoint). The first time I played it and heard it (the sound production was incredible for its day), it was bliss.
I was not expecting it, but when playing the new SSX, it was like the first time I popped in the original and was synced with the jam'n tunes, theme and gameplay. I'm not so sure what some folks are thinking with the revie...
So, we're talking low poly count HD character models? ;)
The whole game would need a facelift for today's demanding gamers.
I really enjoyed the series. 2 was great for its piratey goodness and 3 for its western ghost town setting. The original's monsters were just too goofy looking and oddly animated to be taken seriously or invoke fear.
I'll take the virtual DOA2 Hardcore Tina Armstrong over these gals any day.
Stop blaming Apple and blame the ass that published it to the App store. If you know the process, requirements and agrements there is only one place to point the finger. There are many rip offs that get submitted and some slip through because not everyone involved in the publishing process has a wide knowledged of every freak'n game out there. Considering how many apps they have to sift through, let alone non-game apps. Developers that abuse the terms and conditions are going to end up f-...
Whoa.. settle down there! I don't even play on the 360 geez. It's just a platform of chioce for those who ONLY play FPS on consoles in that region. Also the PC crowd is more comfortable with the 360 because they associate microsoft with PC.
Also, the 360 games drop in price faster for older and used tiles there vs the PS3. Imagine paying close to 100 bucks every time a new game came out. I did when I was there and it sucked. The PS3 games retain their value longer. ...
From my experience living in that region for 5 years and gaming with german gamers, they are dual platform ie PC and a console.
That is true about region freedom on the PC and is also a reason many people I knew owned a PS3. The more hardcore FPS players either stuck to PC and/or Xbox360.
Anyone in Japan who is hardcore/dedicated/curious enough to play Duke already has it anyway.
2K and Gearbox should not even bother. What are they going to do? Sell a dozen copies? (if that lucky).
I think they will end up spending more on the localization than return on sales. Not to mention soiling their names in the minds of the unknowing Japanese gamers.
5 games not to play, but lists 2 games (by title) and 3 game series?
I never really enjoyed the PC Engine games until arround the time the SuperGrafx came out.
I recall having good times playing Silent Debugers and Cadash on my TurboExpress.
I'll take GTA again this generation thank you. A revisit to San Andreas will be nice before we jump to the next ship.
When you use the words Epic, Sniper and Kill, I can only think of "The Best Headshot EVER" from Fallout 3. THAT is epic.
While it is nice and all to have J&D in HD, what I am starving for is a straight up new J&D anventure. I'm jonesing right now for J&D and Sly for PS3...not more remakes!
I don't get it. It this source a serious game news site or just another me-too gamer-ran site?
Horridly written with a series of errors and no author? Why is this up on N4G?
The lack of Warhawk level dog fights is what is lacking for me. When I thinking mechs, I expected something Macross pluss style. More ride by the seat of your pants type gameplay. I wanted something more limber and acrobatic, not a clunky slow walking target. I so miss my lovely VTOL. I know it's not supposed to be Warhawk, but the air/space combat is where I expected my mind to be blown. It's not.
Too bad. Loved the series especially R3. It is still a flip'n blast with the sharpshooter.
Hopefully it will get an equally creative and skilled new home.
Homebrew on non-supported devices is pointless. If you really want to create apps and games get a freak'n SDK and do it as on a platform that has support for it. If you are worth a shit you can make money doing it without all the 'grey' area. Anyone else is just leaching off the homebrew creators who are not getting a dime and then eventually, it goes the route of pirating games. It happens every single time.
Same on iOS with jailbreakers. I recently had some nit...
Sure this not for the leapster?
Yuck.
I'd say just about everything created by Gameloft on iOS.
No. Beat the dead horse until it zombifies and then beat it more. Stop with the zombie crap. It's done.
