I want Tina Armstrong with the voice actress from Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore (Sally Dana). Kate Higgins made her sounds like a teeny-bopper. Tina is a woman, not a girl.
The story is wrong.
At least Kotaku managed to correct their mistake of jumping the gun and not actaully reading the associated information.
From Kotaku:
Correction: This story originally stated that Apple had patented a controller of its own. It was then edited to reflect that Apple was working on allowing third-party controllers to connect to its devices. The document in question actually involves Apple devices mimicking the functions of existing g...
I'll play it again but with conditions. I want to bypass every cutscene and intermission, delete Sunny completly and cut off Hal when he gets too whiney and annoying. Otherwise MGS4 is f-ing amazing. Trophies...not so much, but hey if they are there, why not.
He has a different understanding of the definition of authentic?
Apparently he does not know the definition.
Authentic:
• made or done in the traditional or original way, or in a way that faithfully resembles an original.
• based on facts; accurate or reliable
They make games for entertainment value. This was a really silly argument to try to make with Goodrich. VERY. Goodrich has has been doing this long enough to know about the d...
All that from my comment? What are you going on about? I'm not agreeing or disagreeing on this topic. Fish has got to figure this one out with his audience himself. Looks like he's made his call and wants to move on. I'm not impressed with his call (I understand the grievance some gamers have with him) and don't find his game to be my cup of tea; still, I wish no ill will.
My comment is geared for the assumptive conclusions people have mustered (clearly expos...
It is so adorable when readers assume they understand the developement process cycle, indusrty ethics and technical hurdles in between.
"Fallout: New Vegas is worse than Fallout 3 – Whilst it’s not a sequel as such, was New Vegas really a necessary game? It felt more like a cash-in."
Bullsh**. even if it was just a big expansion, it was a gem and well worth its price.
The vegas wasteland and the adventures it offered were awesome. The atmosphere and environmental design were a nice change to the grey/green D.C. wasteland. I hold both in high regard. Starting on Hardcore mode was the way to ...
Rare could have gone multi-platform (the idea was tossed out there and Activision almost acquired them), but there was a problem. It was hella expensive and all of the big 3 were playing dirty pool at the time, especially Microsoft who was buying their way into the console gaming market. The Bungie deal and Rare deal were two of the slimiest on any standard. It's a shame what happened to Rare. They got a Microsoft corporate re-org, used and discarded. Straight up. Creative freedom tossed ...
I remember Rambo on NES (meh), the Devastators clone style Rambo 3 in the arcade and the actually pretty decent Rambo 3 on the Genesis. You could just as easily had stamped the name Rambo on Ikari Warriors (especially the 3rd one) and P.O.W. and no one would have been the wiser. I think that would hold true with many games today. Just change the character model/assets and call it Rambo. I hope this will actually have a Rambo fell to it (although most games over the last 2 decades have already...
So? Maybe if she was a well known and highly skilled voice artist veteran. You mention a web series about gaming videos that she did? Youtube (and the web) is full of that crap. I guess by that sense, fan art in game magazines are a huge contribution too.
A contribution as it were, is something grand such as implementing new technology or method to the craft that changes, improves and/or evolves the face of gaming. She is FAR from that, as is this jack-ball journalist. Both ...
The creative folks at studios, manufactures and publishers are the ones that contribute to the gaming industry. Not game-fan personas and game journalists (or those ridiculous "The Tester" wanna be developer type folks). I'm a bit tired of all these people trying to grasp onto the real industry professionals trying to find relevance just becuse they love playing video games while bringing baggage and drama with them. If you want to be in the "industry", get a relevant ...
That's a whole lot of "I"s . She better watch out or someone is going to identify her as a narcissist. ;p
Been to E3 and other gaming events over many years. Never heard of her until now. Shame she's getting negative attention, but she should know the gig by now (brush it off). Personally I don't care for those whom feel they have to justify all their accomplishments and their relevance as to how that makes them a gamer. The "I am more gamer" a...
When game journalists become fixated on who "wins" E3 and who is 1st, 2nd, 3rd or what ever...they cease being journalists and represent only themselves and the opinionated and misdirected gaming brand fanatics.
I'd have to say that Blaster Master and Bionic Commando were my two favorite NES titles. Both truely unique, hard and required dedication to complete. Old school, hard core! Passwords? Saves? Who needs 'em!
Hmmm...I have Move, but I'll stick to my Drivingforce GT. It's nice to have this option for as back up or multiplayer. My beef is, why must the big bright glowy ball be right up in my face? How about putting a shroud on the light-ball section facing the player so they don't have to put up with more light in their face. Yeah, the led light is cool looking and all, but I'd rather focus on the screen.
Well the tropies are cool incentive for those who missed that generation, but since I must have beaten this game more times than I can remember, I'll have to pass. I got out of it what I wanted (and it was great). I can still wistle every tune and recall every sound effect in that game. Still a great Genesis/Mega Drive game. Besides, it has ninjas in it!!! Not to mention bosses of shamelss likeness to popular movie and tv characters.
Yeah it totally crapped out a bit ago. My bud and I were just up to level 3 and Bam!....
They apparently are aware of the issue and are investigating it.
--Now they are listed as down for maintenance.
How long before the store is gone and we just pick up the gift cards/ vouchers from a vending machine?
Kinda reminds me of the overhaul that Rygar the Legendary Adventure got when it was ported over to the Wii. I hated the new look, it clashed with the atmosphere, the design of the other characters and story board segments (which reference the original character), but it all played out the same. At least DMC has a whole new arena to play in, regardless how Dante looks.
My three reasons, Sarge, Haggs and and Sweets.
