I only see two peripherals on that list: PowerGlove and Kinect.
What world do you live in where N-Gage and Virtual Boy are peripherals? :P
Unfortunately for everyone out there, spotting bootlegs isn't quite so black-and-white like you're making it out to be. In this day and age, it's a lot more difficult to spot a bootleg because now you have to really investigate that item. I mean, of course there are easy-peasy exceptions, but for the most part, especially with GBA games and DVDs, to tell for sure if it's a bootleg or not, you have to do a little hands-on investigating.
I wish it were as simp...
I didn't know there even was a sequel in the works. As someone who thinks PixelJunk Racers was just plain fun, I also can't wait :)
That's unfortunate you didn't get into it. I'm biased, and am definitely part of that group of kids that grew up with it, so to speak, but it's a wonderful series of books. It's shocking to me how complex the books became, and also how well they were written, given their intended demographic.
It says volumes about J.K. Rowling's writing talent. She didn't underestimate her target demographic's intelligence, she took hold of the imagination a...
The licensed LEGO games are never seen as "shovelware". Games like LEGO Racing and the like.. those are the ones that are thought to be shovelware.
The actual licensed ones, though (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman [less so], Harry Potter) have all been really good. Nobody ever passes those off as shovelware :P
I'm about 17% into LEGO Harry Potter, and although I'm totally biased (huge huge huge Harry Potter fan), it's a great game. D...
The Kin was priced at $50 for the Kin1 and $100 for the Kin2. That's hardly what I'd call "priced like a smartphone".
What killed it was the lack of good marketing as well as Verizon's insistence on charging a $20 fee every month for "data". Verizon apparently didn't get the memo that the Kin is not the next iPhone, but rather the next Sidekick. So I put the blame half and half with Microsoft for marketing and Verizon for their handlin...
I only strongly agree with Okami and Heavy Rain. Super Mario Galaxy, Madworld, No More Heroes, and Little Big Planet are all artful in their art styles, but not much else. Little Big Planet, I suppose, has the "creation" part, too :P
But Gears of War? Really? I disagree with that completely. There is nothing artistic about the style, the story, the gameplay, or anything. It's just another mindless human vs. alien shooter.. nothing more.
This is getting boring now...
It's coming!
It's canceled!
It's coming!
It's canceled!
It's finally making progress!
It's finally canceled for good!
It's still being made!
This development cycle is giving me whiplash. I'm getting tired of it. I think they should just let it go..
It's such a good game. Definitely don't hesitate to pick it up <3
..though don't expect it to be the cheapest game on the market :P
This was an okay PlayStation Store update.
But speaking of PlayStation Plus, if this awesome lineup of deals and freebies holds up for the months to come, what the hell is everyone complaining about PlayStation Plus for?
If the first month of deals/freebies is any indication, it's looking pretty damn sweet.
Woah... I didn't know you still had to pay for the games. I thought the subscription fee was all you needed to pay, and the games you wanted to play on the service would be there for you to play anytime...
I thought it was going to be a very GameTap-like service, but if you actually have to pay full price for the games you get off of the "cloud" (supposedly owned, as you said), that's just plain ridiculous.
That small detail just put all ...
Microsoft certainly has been slacking in the accessories department this generation. I've gone through four of their official wired headsets in the past year, the fifth one starting to break down already, a month after buying it.
They need to get their act together... I'm tired of buying new headsets every two months, damn it :\
...er.... nevermind. Sustained!
Some of us played Hannah Montana: The Movie: The Game out of pure interest, not to be trophy whores. I'm not afraid to admit that I loved Hannah Montana: The Movie, and I was definitely interested in trying the game out.
Disagree away. I'm not scared *throws up Shield of Integrity*
When I first heard they were already bringing out LittleBigPlanet 2, I thought "What? That's such a cop-out. What'll they do this time that's different from the first game?"
After seeing it demonstrated at Sony's press conference yesterday, though, I certainly feel bad for naysaying it. I never imagined what else Media Molecule would come up with, but this looks like it will blow the first game out of the water.
Can't wait :D ...
Um... you sure about that?
Two screens
Gyrosensor
Accelerometer
Plus Resident Evil, Kid Icarus, Mario, and several other titles.
Yes. The PSP has certainly had all these since launch.
This is so random and off-topic, but how is that game? I was interested in picking it up after seeing it being released for a rather cheap price ($40) and really enjoying the demo.
But why finish the story completely when they know that adding a frustrating cliffhanger will pique interest in the DLC they'll be bringing out, and henceforth everyone who cares about the cliffhanger will buy it?
Is this article joking? That game was so good... Legacy of Goku II is the one I personally didn't like at all.
Evrfighter, your PC gamer elitism is really stinking up this webpage. You should stop acting like you're a know-it-all and that anyone who plays on consoles is a dweeb. No need to be a douche about it.
