Is it just me or does this have "clunky as hell" written all over it?
That's with SEGA's previously fortunately short history with superhero movie videogame adaptations notwithstanding...
"It also plays good. Happy?"
No, because it should be "plays well".
Grammar Police unite! :D
In the preview thumbnail, I totally thought that was Madison Paige from Heavy Rain on the far right. And then I was like "Woah! Heavy Rain 2?! :D"
But alas...
Stolen Xbox Live account email/password =/= stolen identity.
Come on now.
Yeah, Jack Tretton is one of my favorite CEOs. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders, doesn't appear to only worry about money (even though he may, he would be hiding it very well because he doesn't come off as greedy at all), and to top it all off he seems like a super swell guy.
My favorite CEO <3
Man, what an egotistical douchebag.
He used to be a genius, but he has fallen from grace immensely. What a dick.
Another homerun for Mega64. Probably their funniest video in a long time, but that's not to say their other videos haven't been awesome. They've just been losing a little magic, is all.
This reinstates that lost magic, though :D

iDevices may not have started out as premium gaming platforms, but over the years the App Store has evolved much more.
*whips out a rocking chair and monocle*
Back in my day, games that blew people away on the App Store were things like Flight Control and Pocket God. Seeing such accurate touch capabilities on display was quite the experience. Over the next year or so, games were still situated in that "pick up and play, quick ...
Though I agree that throwing out all that hard work and money would be a mistake, and they should bring it out later on down the road, you have to commend them for their ethics. If it really is canceled, then good on Irem for putting their respect and humanity first, before money.
I jumped into the Punch-Out ring a bit late, as I played the original game for the first time a mere 3 weeks before the Wii one came out (of course, I was playing the NES version in preparation for the Wii one's release).
However, I can say that Punch-Out on the Wii was an outstanding purchase. The hardcore fans have a lot to love with it, especially since the patterns are all the same in the first round of fighting. The best thing about it, though, is "defending y...
I agree that they're sick bastards, but judging by your rundown of "what should happen to these guys", I'd say you aren't the healthiest individual yourself.
I agree with your hatred for the game and the methods of which they're garnering attention, though.
It's the thought that went into making it that makes it so distasteful. Is it merely a custom level? Sure. You could look at it that way. The context of which the level is based upon is what adds the stupidity and tastelessness.
Yeah. I was just about to come here and say this looks like MadWorld but with actual color, and a female main character rather than a male.
And yes, she definitely looks like the girl that throws the Black Baron into the Bloodbath Challenges. That's what sparked my thought that this is a female MadWorld actually :D
Yeah, after the blisteringly good sales of DKCR, Nintendo would be shutting out a big window of business opportunity if they did not pursue a sequel.
This is just a damn shame to read... :(
As a side note, Donkey Kong Country Returns would be suhweet on the 3DS. In fact, while I was playing through Donkey Kong Country Returns, that's all I was thinking about: "Dayum, this would be sweet on the 3DS." :P
That's actually the main reason I'm thinking this release date isn't 100% accurate. Uncharted 3, Skyrim, I think The Old Republic, the NGP most likely, let alone the inevitable Modern Warfare 3 November release... all of this is coming in such close proximity to that listed date that I'm wondering just how smart it would be to release it around then.
The smart thing about it is they're releasing it before all those other things, but only by a margin of a ...
I think boss fights are also very important to the structure of games in general. Throughout most games that require skill, you need to hone your skills against the tinier stages until you develop the skills necessary to topple the boss at the end of the world, stage, or game.
I think boss fights are also necessary to make a lasting impression on the game player, too. Throwing a gigantic boss towards the player will not only scare them in some ways, but it will also mean so...
The subscription plan is really not all that cheap... that's pretty standard for MMOs. The "Founders Subscription" saves you a little money, but I don't think it's big enough of a discount to justify calling it "cheap".
Most people will go for the monthly plan, though, which is the same price for founders and regular subscribers, and is the standard for MMOs nowadays.
Yeah exactly... thirsty for page hits, are we?
It is indeed a really great price... That may just give it a total edge on the 3DS competition. Instead of being astronomically more expensive than the Nintendo handheld (a la the PSP vs. DS days), this will balance it out a lot if true.
God I hope it's true.
I will also be getting the Wifi version. I have my phone for 3G needs and I don't play online multiplayer much, so I'm not missing out :D
Won't be too difficult to top the abysmal failure that was Apocalypse and to a lesser degree Extinction.
