I am very disappointed that this news story was a complete fake...

*sigh*

Compared to other promotions I've seen as of late, these are some pretty fantastic contenders in the free game department. I would have expected something like:

Major League of Eating - Wii
Blast Factor - PS3
Omega Five - 360

But no.. They picked World of Goo (possibly the best value on the Wii Shop Channel), Braid (very innovative and beautiful platformer-puzzle game), and PixelJunk Eden (not my cup of tea, but still a great choice).

Very c...

Don't worry, man. These spoilers are minimal, if anything. We have known of her gravestone since the most recent Resident Evil 5 trailer (shown at E3? Not sure on that one). As someone else stated, they WANT us to know about this. They are purposely glorifying her death.

She is probably dead for sure... People saying something about that hooded woman being Jill may be on to something, sure. But at the same time, that sounds too predictable and easy to guess. Too uninspired, especially given how much they're glorifying the death of Jill Valentine.

Speaking back on whether this will be a heavy plot focus: Maybe through flashbacks we'll find out what happened to her, and then near the end of the game, we'll find out exactly what this virus is, an...

Mirror's Edge? Seriously?

Anyways, I don't like how they're only looking at the big games coming out now...

Why didn't they put in something like Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts? Only $40, and has a good 30 - 40 hours of play time, and that is without factoring in all the vehicles you can create, and all the different things to collect and different ways to go about completing certain challenges.

A bit of an older one, but still recent in my world: Ba...

I find their lack of mentioning Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, as well as Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, deeply disturbing, to say the least :(

:P

I only have Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. I traded in the GameCube one a few weeks after it came out, because I decided it just wasn't the game for me.

And then some three years down the road, I liked it again... And this is when I decided to pick it up on the Wii, since I heard that was the most fleshed-out and feature-filled version of the billion ports that had come out since.

But hearing about you guys getting it on the PS2, GameCube, AND PC?... Man, it just makes...

I know how to view it on here, of course, but I can't find this on the demo anywhere... I stayed at the title screen for a while, and all that jazz, but still nothing.

How does one go about watching this video on the demo?

Capcom only region-locked the demo on the Marketplace. If you got a hold of the demo from the Japanese Marketplace before they region-locked it, you're golden.

And that is exactly what one person did: They put the region-free demo up for download, and you can easily bring it to your own 360. No modding or illegal activities needed =)

This is pretty amazing. If we can harness this technology and use it to power more and more objects, I wonder if this could lead to frequency-powered cars or trains...

If that is where we are heading, it would be a fantastic thing. Probably wouldn't count on that sort of advancement of technology for quite a while though. If we even get to that point, at all, that is.

Either way: Very interesting. And definitely a step in the right direction :)

Man, I really don't like all the flack the Wii gets lately. Sure it is failing on the hardcore level, but at the same time, if you look hard enough, you will find some incredible games in that pile of shovelware:

Okami
Castle of Shikigami III
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
World of Goo
de Blob
Wario Land: Shake It

...I could go on, but I didn't even factor in the big three yet (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), and there are PLENTY...

Rare is completely open to releasing Goldeneye on the Virtual Console, but there are licensing issues they need to work out with MGM, Nintendo, Activision (I think), and a bunch of stuff like that.

However, from what I've heard, the one company that's holding the release back is Nintendo. So if you're mad at anyone, be mad at Nintendo.

I honestly can't believe this article is so popular on here.

*facepalm*

I'll be honest: I suck immensely at this game. It's a puzzle game unlike any other, and you have to think in a way that is completely 180 degrees from how you're used to thinking... This game is extremely simple in its presentation, but so damn complicated in the execution of puzzle solutions and such... Gah, I love it, though :D

And now that I hear about these Trophies, I have a much-needed motivation to keep trying :)

Looks like these Achievements are simple and fun enough that people won't get terribly frustrated trying to get them. Just the way I like 'em :P

I completely hate that Grand Theft Auto IV "moved towards realism", rather than arcadey gameplay; this is not a good thing.

I know I'm probably alone in this, but I hope this doesn't mean more sandbox games will be realistic. With the recent announcement that Saints Row 3 will be taking a very different path, I'm not anticipating a very arcadey and humorous game like the last two. And now with this article about the driving mechanics in Wheelman being tweaked to be m...

Fatal Frame was an amazing, but highly-underrated, game Fatal Frame II is quite possibly the best survival-horror game I've ever played. Fatal Frame III was all right, but not as amazing as the first two (especially Crimson Butterfly)...

And ever since Fatal Frame IV was announced for Japan, I've been holding out for an announcement that it will be coming stateside. Man, this is so exciting to hear that it is most likely coming over here, at all. Let's hope this really does co...

I'd say save your money, and just pick up the Metal Slug Anthology. It's pretty cheap right now, and it has Metal Slug 1 - 6 (as well as Metal Slug X), all in one neat little package. Much better value, in my opinion.

Look at what happened to:

Turok
Too Human
Dark Sector
Chinese Democracy
St. Anger

...and a bunch of other largely-delayed things out there. They were delayed and delayed, and eventually hyped up to the extreme... And this ultimately led up to each of these games/CDs' failures, both commercially and critically.

I say Duke Nukem Forever should be indefinitely postponed. Unless they pull some miraculous bunny out of their hat, this...
