Now this scraping the barrel, is that the best the bots can do to put down Infamous. One PS3 dying story.

They make games more believable.

Well for me I like good graphics with awesome sound. Both have an equal role in making a game more immersive.

The Cells chip encption which also protects game data at various levels making it so far impossible to crack the PS3.

It's working for Sony with PS3, game piracy non existent.

The OS should be free, seen as they are rushing it out cos Vista flopped and they are ditching support for XP.

Reason, not everyone around the world has access to the internet let alone at fast affordable speeds needed to down load 20Gb-400Gb games. It will happen maybe over the next 15-20 years(2-3 gens away), but defo not before next gen.

The HVD also has a transfer rate of 1 Gbit/s (125 MB/s). Optware planned to release a 200 GB disc in early June 2006, and Maxell planned one for September 2006 with a capacity of 300 GB and transfer rate of 20 MB/s -- although HVD standards were approved and published on June 28, 2007, neither company has released an HVD as of May, 2009.

HVD still nothing too show even when annouced early June 2006, 3 years ...

Imagine how slow the read speeds would be. Nothing but vapourware anyhow.

Blu-ray is the future, there has been tons of advancements in Blu-ray tech. Blu-ray reading/writing & storage/costs have all improved.

6134d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Imagine the cost? slow read speeds?

Whist Blu-ray is on 4th/5th gen tech, With 100Gb-400Gb seeing the light of day. Blu-ray has faster read speeds already, x6 & x8 are already out. With faster Blu-ray drives on the way. Also cheaper to make.

Yes Microsoft needs to get storage thats better than what they did with the dated DVD9 in 360. But jumping into a new untested media format is epic fail for them.

A hybrid Blu-ray would be a better choice. ...

Sony will just negotate a better deal.

6135d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Then Why has there been knoww new of chip shrinks pass 65nm for 360.

Where as both Toshiba & IBM are already producing Cells at 45nm. Sony's in a better position too shrink chipset first aka slim or new motherboard in same case. MS need to fix RROD first before they start shrink anything for a slim.

It's a cool game that can be had for free off US PS Store.

Whilst it would have been cool to have online play, not all games require online.

And defo writen by a bot.
