When the said PS3 redesign it still don't rule out a mother board redesign. I mean it's common knowledge that IBM & Toshiba are already producing 45nm Cell chips. So Sony could be in the process of swiching from 65nm Cell too 45nm Cell. Case could stay the same size, which would allow the chips more room to breathe.

Best £450 I've spent on a launch console, my UK PS3(60Gb upgraded to 320Gb) still going strong to this very day. Same can't be said for launch 360's. Most have red ringed several times.

Funny how at exactly the same point in it's life cycle PS3 is out selling 360 by over 3.5 million. Just goes to say brand loyalty exsists.
Even when PS3 cost roughly twice as much, 360 struggles to out sell it on a weekly basis by huge ammounts.
