27 Disagrees and not even ONE Agree. :)
I wonder if The Witness will even release on Xbox One?
Doesn't Microsoft demand that games release simultaneously on their platform? Or will they scrap that policy with Xbox One or make an exception to it?
Because console manufacturers take a cut (around $12 IIRC) from every copy of a retail game that sells.
No-one is taking such a cut from the PC version.
Completely agree!
Videogames provide exponentially better value than any other form of entertainment (music, films, TV, books).
Sure, your average retail game might cost 3-4 times as much as a DVD/Blu-Ray movie, but it also lasts 10-50 times longer and is tons more fun due to being interactive.
The Wii U is only great value if you ignore everything aside from the hardware cost.
Total Cost of Ownership for Nintendo systems is through the roof compared to Sony and Microsoft due to overpriced digital and VC games, and almost no price drops on first-party retail games.
I speak from years of experience in owning a Wii and PS3. The PS3 has worked out far cheaper in terms of overall "average cost per game" ratio when everything - software, hardw...
Disappointed that it won't be a launch game; I was going to buy it with my launch day PS4.
Now I need to find something else to play on day one. :(
Those Genesis games are EXPENSIVE.
You can buy Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection new for around $10-$15 on PS3 or 360, which contains around 40 games including all the Genesis games listed here, plus tons of extra content and achievements/trophies.
The "Nintendo Tax" is ridiculous on these versions.
Nope, I'm 68 hours in I can tell you there's nothing like that in Persona 4 Golden either. ;)
Not sure why anyone bothers asking a question like this.
Even if Titanfall is ready to go on PS4 and just held back due to an exclusivity deal with Microsoft, you know Microsoft will have given EA and the devs enough money to stay silent on the matter, so as not to damage what they're getting out of the deal. We saw this happen numerous times in the current generation.
The PS4 release is a certainty as far as I'm concerned.
@yugovega
If all you look for is ease-of-access in your entertainment, then you're missing the point of a game like Beyond.
Aside, you statement can be applied to ANY game. Maybe you should just give your console to someone who actually enjoys playing games?
I was thinking more along the lines of classical stuff like the original Fantasia.
Classical music is one of the most important defining characteristics of Fantasia IMHO. Taking away the classical music removes the essence of what makes Fantasia what it is.
It's available for pre-order on Amazon UK. I guess Amazon US didn't make it available for pre-order yet.
I pre-ordered PS4 on Amazon. I figure I can cancel it any time before it ships if I decide that I don't want it, otherwise the pre-order guarantees that I get the console at the lowest price they list it between now and the release.
I saved 33% on my Wii U Deluxe last year by pre-ordering on Amazon. :)
Completely agree. I bought my Vita on day one with Golden Abyss, Rayman Origins and a free 8GB memory card. I took it into the office the next day to show my colleagues; everyone who saw it was pretty impressed, especially with Golden Abyss and the augmented reality games.
It may not have many games, but even the quality of what was available at launch easily put any kind of gaming experience on a phone or tablet to shame.
Always makes me chuckle when a comment like this gets a disagree, like someone somewhere has implicitly said "No it's not only on PS3!" ;)
Sony's conference is 03:00 my local time. I normally get up for work at 05:00, so I'm thinking I could sleep a couple hours earlier (with the assistance of some melatonin) and get up to watch the conference before getting ready for work.
Sounded more interesting to me before reading "pop hits of the modern era".
You're mad because someone expressed a numerical representation of their OPINION on a game!?
You make it sound like they gave the ending away. :p
It's not the first; LittleBigPlanet also scored 10/10 from Edge.
I know he said that, but will Microsoft allow it?
