Lets not forget that one account that has Gold on an Xbox One makes all accounts on that Xbox One also have gold.
lol. mikeslemonade pulled out a vgchartz link. As if those are accurate numbers.
Retailers dont release sold units statistics to the public. Only the manufacturing company would have access to those types of stats, if they even do.
I just have to point out that all the people b*&$#ing saying "its on pc, its on xbox 360, quit the cloud crap" are the same people who were here before the Xbox One came out saying "Its not cloud servers exclusive to the Xbox One, its Microsofts Azure Cloud service."
And guess what, they were right. Its Microsofts Azure cloud service, which can be programmed into any game on the PC, Xbox 360, or Xbox One.
It's a little sad that you have to recommend buying a second controller in the first place...
@GentlemenRUs
If AMD bought the G-Sync tech, they wouldnt have to reverse engineer it. ;)
@Mega24
I feel the same way. I was a big GT fan and then Forza came out on the original Xbox and I fell in love. Ive owned every single one since then with the exception of Horizons and the new Forza 5.
Something just feels off about this Forza. I cant put my finger on it, but it just doesnt feel the same as the previous installments.
Id probably own Forza 5 anyways since I love racing games, but recently a tragedy has befallen me. My brother visited ...
@Some people above me
I agree with you mostly, but there are plenty of awesome mods that are not complicated, add more immersion to the game, and do not make lower-end PCs take a FPS hit.
In this sense, there was more they could have done. When it comes to maxed out graphical fidelity however, I agree. Would cost more money than it would have been worth.

It's Realistic Needs and Diseases. A very interesting mod indeed.
If you care about realism, why not give this disturbing mod a try.

Damnit. I spelled no when I meant to spell know. I guess I need to stop drinking Jim Beam around now.
Because a group of hackers (Anonymous, TeamBerserk, DERP) use DDoS attacks to stop services from being online to end-users. And yes, it was a DDoS attack.

@lonewolfjedi
A couple of things... firstly, you realize hacking banks/credit unions and removing everyones debt would have a huge impact on our economy. Companies would shut down and never get payed the money they are owed for the services they provide.
Secondly, you DO pay Netflix for security. Where do you think the money to pay for IT personnel comes from? Your monthly subscription price. Which pays the company, which in turn pays their employees which so...

It was not a hack, just a DDoS. And multiple sites reported it. The one above is just one example.
Good analysis, and I agree with pretty much everything you said. So Im giving you a well said bubble.
It may not be anything big now, but it introduced new kinds of gameplay, physics based puzzles, and single-player story telling the likes of had never before been seen until the release of HL2.
Play the games keeping that in mind, and you'll see why it was so special.
The single-player gamer is a dying breed. Sadly, thats just the way things are trending at the moment and it seems developers have forgotten about the importance of story telling these days.
There are plenty of us left, but studios no longer cater to our type instead opting for multiplayer shout matches and playing with friends online instead of actually being together.
The biggest disappoint to me personally is the lack of local co-op modes for games these ...
Portal, sure. Half-Life, hell no. Half-Life is what made them. It was released before Steam was ever an idea. If it werent for the success of Half-Life, Valve wouldnt even be around today.
And while Counter-Strike 1.6 was the reason for the creation of Steam, Half-Life 2 was the first retail title released that required the installation and use of Steam to play the game.
Steam may have helped make Valve what they are now, but without Half-Life there would be ...
@Kleptic
Even so, it would satisfy most gamers to know if they are working on it or dont feel they can deliver what gamers expect right now. A simple acknowledgement of their progress or lack thereof would calm a lot of us down.
You and Foxtrot seem to both be taking opposite sides of each other. One is more about the story, the other is more about the gameplay. Clearly Valve has to find the amazing mix of both. That what made there games great. Not the gamep...

"i only support ms when I have to (like buying Windows to play a game I want on pc). I hate it, but Mac gaming, while being better than it used to, still doesn't suffice for my gaming habits without a lengthy work around."
So you're not pro-Sony, just anti anything Microsoft. Tell me again how that doesn't bias you towards Sony. Since they are the only other console manufacturer to make a truly next-gen system spec wise.
