You are correct, it doesn't. It's the persistent world shared by online players that makes it an MMO.

You should be all good still. I also have a 2 GB card, but as long as you have a little extra system ram, depending on the game some of the textures can be offloaded to system ram. You may take a bit of a performance hit but it can still be run.

Shadow of Mordor only needed 6GB of VRAM for ultra textures. That's only if you downloaded the ultra textures pack. Otherwise it only needed 3GB of VRAM.
As long as games support offloading some textures to system ram, even if it's slower, I should be good. I have 16GB of DDR3-1800 and with the ultra texture pack downloaded I still got 30-60FPS with my 2GB GTX 770.

You are on a gaming news aggregate... we all know what an MMO is. Destiny is a hybrid MMO. That's why it has MMO elements but not a true MMO experience.

I have a hard time believing you really know much about PC gaming. Spec to spec comparisons are a huge way to gauge performance from card to card and generation to generation.

900p should be a minimum standard for all Xbox One and PS4 games. 1080p optional. 720p upscaled to 1080p looks awful in comparison to 900p or trueHD 1080p.
Yes, I own an Xbox One. 900p on my Samsung LED 1080p 52" TV looks great. 900p on my gaming PC monitor looks awful. I'm assuming because of size, viewing distance, and a much higher pixel density.

1080p = 2,073,600 pixels
1,440,000 / 2,073,600 = 0.69 or 69%.
So 900p is 69% of the pixels of 1080p. Or a 31% difference between 900p and 1080p.
31% is much closer to a 25% estimation than 50%...

Are you a compuer engineer? Are heavy into the Custom PC or Modding scene? Read articles about hardware and architecture advances daily?
I have a feeling, just like the majority of the gamers on this site, that you have no idea what the difference is between an APU and CPU/GPU in a traditional PC. APUs contain both the CPU and GPU on a single die and allow offloading tasks from one to the other if needed. It's suppose to be one of the next big things...
Yeah, but as you said " drive as fast as you can and disregard the race line and your opponents and win the race" which would imply just about everyone else would be crashing as well. It's not like you would be the only one with mechanical damage in the game...
I get why, but it kills racing games for me when there is no mechanical damage whatsoever.
Would have been a billion times better if it had mechanical and internal damage.
The PS4 is doing very well and I dont know why Xbox One fanboys would be upset by it. The competition is only going to push Microsoft to get out of the underdog status it currently is in. That's not to say that Microsoft is doing badly with the Xbox One, but that they will be working even harder now to make it that much more competitive.

Yes, gamers do care about what their consoles can do. If gamers didn't care about anything other than gaming, last gen consoles wouldnt have had facebook, youtube, rentable movies and tv shows, netflix... shall I go on?
