For GTA4, I think they were more or less intending to mean with the ENB series mods and such. It becomes pretty graphically demanding once you start modifying the shaders.
There are tons of royalties from the Minecraft license, not to mention future sales on the Xbox One platform. Also, just because a lot of people have played it doesn't mean more people wont buy it. Ive never bought or played Minecraft, but I can guarantee you that once my son turns 5-6 I will buy it for him to play. There is a thing called future generations and future sales.

Tiled resources can be used with any kind of RAM... It's not hardware but a combination of hardware and software like DirectX 12 and a DirectX 12 capable GPU. The PS4 is also capable of using tiled resources.
They used the amount of eSRAM they did because it has to be put on the processor die and there is a finite amount of space. More eSRAM would have eaten even more into the CPU or GPU since they are also on the same die.

It is a hack, it's just not elaborate. The definition of a hack is not specific. It's just making something do what it's not suppose to do. When DDoS attacks happen it's often a botnet used, unless it's an amplified DDoS.

Websites like this and the gamers that inhabit them are the majority of the problem. Everyone was complaining about resolution, especially fanboys. Rather than judging the games based on fun factor everyone decided specs and resolution mattered. Plenty of the fanboys made it a recurring theme.
Just enjoy the games and the consoles you like. If framerate and resolution were the end all be all of video games than everyone would have a gaming PC.

Are they not justified though? They intentionally left out the ability to change to E3 2012 type graphics in settings. Ubisoft could have defaulted to the settings they shipped it with and let people choose if they liked it. If it hurts performance for some people, they can simply change the settings back.
It took a guy unpacking the game files and finding out the options were actually there but disabled at the engine level.

That was a PS Vita game ported to consoles and PC. It got the a terrible score because it was a handheld game to begin with and never belonged on a console. I own it, the whole game feels weird to play.
Not to mention how retarded the gameplay is. I mean, you have to switch between three different dresses/styles just to be able to do basic stuff like assassinations. My girlfriend doesnt even like the game, and shes beaten Assassins Creed 2 and Broth...

Free to play is another way of saying "Game based solely on micro-transactions." You know, the kind of games that 99% of all self-respecting gamers dont like.
I loved WoW in the beginning. But after all the expansions, starting new characters became bland and boring as hell. Barely anyone would be in starting areas, you almost had to go it alone the last few years. I believe thats why they introduced the refer a friend double XP. If you werent playing with a friend it was really really boring.
