for me here in UK it's simple:
Buying 2 next gen multi-platform games for console will me around £110(=$172), while buying 2 next gen multi-platform games for PC will cost me around £62(=$96).
So after buying 20 games I will have saved around £400/$700. TO me that's a massive difference
This is just my opinion.
BUT up to this point all their been doing is defending the gameplay + combat and boasting how great it is.
AND what scares me is that they have no even mentioned the story, the purpose or the complexity of the game. If it's just a game to kill bunch of dudes in fancy ways I have no interest in this game.
I don't think CDPR ever claimed that Witcher 2 was an Open World game.
I've never has music ramping up in dialogs with NPC's
unless you have turned down dialogue sounds: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
No and yes. CDPR said you will be able to enjoy Witcher 3 without playing the previous ones BUT if you have played them you'll understand more about background characters and their motivations.
Also Witcher 1 has few videos explaining what happened in Witcher 1: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
They were asked multiple time to release the footage but they declined as it was not ready for public eyes as it was just early alpha. This game is not out for another year.
I'm sad to see this leak, the person who did it broke their trust in the closed doors screening.
Pretty sure CDPR didn't want to see this leaked. The person who did it broke their trust!!!
Microsoft exec clarifies: “We have real, retail consoles running real code”
We can't believe anyone anymore
please don't see that, all they care about which has a bit of an advantage over the other. Like it actually matters. Buy it for a system which you play with and prefer, simple as that.
and the game isn't going to out for another year or so.
Would be be cool if you could name a single game that looked as good as Rage and ran at 60FPS on both PS3 and 360.
I think it looked great for a team that has shrunk so much from what they used to be and still with no publisher and any real funding! It could look better but with time I KNOW IT WILL
That's why there is no release date, CDPR will take as much time as they need to finish it. I can't say if it will be polished but I know it will be great
It's going to be a great game :)
I know what you mean. But hopefully it will be a great ending to a great character
Improved Alchemy involves players drinking potions prior to combat, and activating them when required.
That's brilliant
The two main factors for me are 60fps and 3D support. Witcher 2 was among the best Nvidia 3D supported game. My first playthrought I didn't use 3D but was getting a lovely stable 68fps. On my 3rd playthrought I played it in 3D and loved it.
It's something that next gen consoles will not be able to offer me. Also don't get me started on MODS. Witcher 3 will be open world I can't even image what kind of mods there will be coming out for it
I highly doubt it's being dumbed down for next gen consoles. If you remember it's not coming to PS3 or 360.
I wish definition of visual cutbacks would be better explained.
I do understand but witcher is based on the books in which geralt is described in good detail, and there is a story reason for his white hair
such a great mod
I don't think CDPR is going to use the most extreme settings of the fur tech as it would just make the game unplayable. BUT then again they got almost a year to optimise it
