Seems like Xbox team got a lot of great passionate people. It's a shame that PR did such a bad job at showing all the hard work they did.

It's simple why they didn't use the actual xbox one.
- Xbox one needed kinect being connected (Thus people would mess with it)
- Xbox one needed an internet connection
I'm loosing hope in series all together. Playing AC3 just felt wrong. It was a great action game BUT did not feel like assassins creed.

In all fairness they didn't do any advertisement for first two. No banners, posters on the streets ads on tv and ect.

If you actually read what they said you'll realise that they didn't know much themselves and actually still don't as MS didn't truly confirm anything with them:
