That's the thing it's based on the Witcher novels but from the new interview it seems that the witcher game story is written by the CDPR themselves, they only used the places and characters from the novels.
I think that they could make some amazing RPG's =]

I find that weird, when you have soft-core sex scenes in +15 rated movies but you show a single nipple in a game and it +18! Sex should not be a taboo
Depends. Story wise yes, Witcher 2 has deeper well told story. But they are two different types of games, i would say try it out if you want something frash and new

Hope to see more of these, they got the style that is described in the books
They have so much new stuff and they re-done a lot, if you look at some of the videos, some of the places have brand new textures, Prologue environment models looks different and from the devs said they had to remodel parts of flotsam forest so it looks even nice now. I seriously can't wait for it!
