Well I do get the point of everyone having the same experience and not being discriminated on their platform choice BUT.
With development team of 800+ people over 6 studios they could have given a unique and best experience for each platform of choice.
Looking forward to see what they got planned :)
Well, when you got 1000+ people at 6 studios working on a game I do image so.
It's like windows 8. It downloads an update in the background and gives a user a set amount of time to restart to apply an update (3-4 days). If after given time user did not restart the machine to apply the update windows 8 does a force restart.
Nothing new here guys.
If you need 1000€ PC to max out BF4 you didn't build the PC right.
It's because of the advanced Nvidia PhysX 3 implementation. Can't wait to see it
Yes essentially that! + a monitor with g-sync running a game at 40fps will look at smooth as monitor running a game at 60fps without g-sync.
Well 12GB of GDDR5 is not confirmed, tbh nothing is confirmed about it. We'll need to wait for full details
Their using the newest version that is not publicly out yet. SpeedTree dev team actually worked together with CDPR to get the tech there.
After playing few matches of BF4 it felt like BF3 with a different map and that's about it
I am looking forward to this game :)
I hope people understand that 1080 native frame buffer just means that the game still runs at 1600×900 but is up scaled to be 1080
It's quite said that people don't even bother to read the article and just comment based on the title.
CDPR are talking about that Big open worlds mean nothing if empty. They also are talking about their new "quest cluster" technology to always have things happening when your travelling around the map.
"Tim: Like I said at the start: I have no real idea what any of this is, but I want one anyway."
If people actually read the announcement they would realise that the controller has:
Dual linear resonant actuators: "These small, strong, weighted electro-magnets are attached to each of the dual trackpads. They are capable of delivering a wide range of force and vibration, allowing precise control over frequency, amplitude, and direction of movement.
As a parlour trick they can even play audio waveforms and function as speakers
"
Lol oh WOW if you actually look you'll see that NOTHING not a single object there is casting a shadow. Just look at the tanks
I can't find the right picture but this is close to what wtopez meant.

I don't know guys I was really expecting more from next gen consoles. Not being able to do to 1080 is rather disappointing.
The game was already running so it was just in the background. As you jumped right in the cut-scene no menus
Not sure if this is the same but I would be careful http://n4g.com/news/1399122...
