Well, given Sony’s aggressive marketing for this game this far, I imagine they’re expecting it to sell a lot.
Really? They didn’t seem to shy to brag about their sales last gen when they were doing pretty good. The whole “we don’t care about sales, just player activity” is just a poor cover up, and you know it.
Holiday 2019 at the earliest.
I’m happy being an owner of both of both a Pro and a Switch, though I honestly haven’t played my Switch very much lately. Waiting on some new games to come out like Smash and Pokémon.
Pretty much exactly what a lot of people have been asking for.
Not really any upside for Sony themselves, realistically speaking. Regardless of what they do at this point, there’s not nearly enough interest in the handheld to justify strong support. They tried pretty hard in the beginning and people didn’t bite, so here we are now. Kind of glad, honestly. I liked Vita a lot, but the amount of support that PS4 has recieved, thanks to zero first party emphasis on Vita, has been incredible.

I’d buy Sunset Overdrive 2 for PS4. If they make it, they should release the first on PS4 as well, kind of like Nintendo with Bayo 1.
Goes without say. I’ll actually be pretty pissed if Sony mentions PS5 at E3.

They want to make another billion dollar franchise by constantly copying whatever is popular at the time. This is pretty much guaranteed to flop just as bad as Lawbreakers.
In YoY growth. The link won’t say it, but it’s still in a far behind third place in overall sales.
What a vague way of putting it. It’s the best performing in terms of YoY growth, not in terms of actual sales numbers, and of course this is only in the US. Right now, we’re still in the X hype phase, and it’s not exactly hard for the console to be outperforming it’s numbers from this time last year.
9th generation hardware is certainly going to be interesting. It’s really going to determine where consoles go from here on out. Whether they continue the conservative model, or start moving to becoming service hubs. Hopefully PS5 is as powerful as rumored.
That’d be awesome. I don’t want Insomniac to outright say he’s in though. It’d be awesome if this game had a lot of surprises.
Yup, it’s still the highest grossing film of all time at $2.7 billion. Titanic is still #2, I’m pretty sure. Not even Star Wars TFA could pass it.
Extremely unlikely. It’s going to be a long time before any film tops Avatar’s box office, if ever. IW won’t even come close.
I would love to see Resistance make a return, but only if they return to the style of R1 & 2. R3 was straight garbage.
