Absolutely agreed
**with this game,. November 2024**
Interesting, considering the game isn't coming out until 2025.
Considering a release in 2025, who cares if it was a day early
@Crows90
All that, and still you didn't name one game that was held back from the Series S.
If Game Pass wasn't viable it would have been axed already. Look at the other ventures MS has made that did not turn a profit, or wasn't the success short term or long run, for example Kinect, the HD DVD add on and I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting.
What are we going on now for Game Pass, five, six years?
People like to think MS has endless cash to waste but that is definitely not the case and if Game Pass wasn't pulling in n...
**there's a difference between making a profit and profitable**
Both scenarios in this statement seem very beneficial no matter what. Not the flex I think you wanted to make.
@babadook
You are desperately trying hard to not give any credit to Xbox. Even when multiple articles have stated they have and the actual quote says otherwise.
"What’s more, performance improvements are coming to both PC and PS5 on behalf of all the work that’s gone into optimising for Xbox."
Because of their work on Xbox, getting things to run smoothly there. They were able to take that work and transfer that over to PS5 whi...
There's a difference between what someone might want to see, like the CFO stated and then what is actually happening from the CEO, like Phil.
Until Phil Spencer says GP is coming to PS and Switch I would take what any other execs wishes as exactly that, wishes.
"But, but wait, MS wants to be a third party publisher and then at the same time MS is a monopoly!!"
Which one will it be this month folks?
Extremely curious to see just how huge this game is going to be. You just know it's going to be filled with just absolutely everything possible that can be done in a game.
Those are old titles that absolutely no one is talking about.
No buzz and again no hype behind any of the games you mentioned.
Where are the games?!? There was a lack of announcements from each presentation and the games they showed were forgotten instantly. Sony seems to generate buzz for the PS5 and their future games like Wolverine but for some reason, an expensive add on requires a "please just wait for it" attitude.
Let...
So nobody is actually answering the question. Just ranting on big publishers buying developers.
But what exactly got smaller by MS? As Dead said...
Companies aren't making as many games as before, not because of competition but because of high costs and low returns.
The only way to keep going in this industry is to be bought out or make deals for funding, or repeated sequels of well known IPs.
So in reality MS, Te...
There's a difference between a presence and then a bigger push which is what Sony and MS are doing.
Sony does not have a huge presence in the mobile industry the same way an EA or Activision has at the moment. Leaving a link of a game that's popular in Japan is not the flex you think it is.

There's definitely no hype or excitement behind the PS VR2 and just like the first one, everyone is waiting for the latest Resident Evil to release and then nothing.
Once again Sony fails to get behind it with some high profile titles. No well known IPs from their catalog. No Spider Man, no GoW, no Resistance, etc etc, just relying on ports and demos.
But I'm sure I'll get the standard "wait until their next showcase" response.
Pause!
Crazy how close these gaming giants follow each other. First MS with a bigger push in mobile with their King purchase now Sony with their partnership with NCSoft.
What's even funnier, is that it's LITERALLY and actually Larian studios saying thanks to the Xbox for the optimizations coming to the PC and PS5 and we still have people on this site that says it has nothing to do with that.
Yes, really?
Your example of Starfield doesn't support anything Mr Dead is saying in relation to this article.
Just more "I hate MS" nonsense without a valid explanation.
Everything you said let's me know you have no clue on what is actually happening in the real world.
There's a reason why we're getting nothing but sequel after sequel of known IPs instead of new IPs, there's a reason why games are going service based, there's a reason why once independent studios are being bought by publishers, there's a reason why studios are not hitting their yearly profit goals and why there's unprecedented mass layoffs across...
Exactly what got smaller?
10 years plus some change in the making, I'm sure Rockstar has had ample time on the series S dev kit / specs.
Not sure where this article gets it's source to make an opinion that the series S will be a hurdle for Rockstar.
