Halo 4 looks fantastic, as does TLOU. Two different artistic directions, two different types of game, two different platforms. Direct comparisons are meaningless.
I've been considering getting this game... but between Blacklist and GTAV, I just can't rationalize it. Maybe if I have some extra money kicking around between GTAV and Nov. 22nd.
seems like a "single playthrough" kind of game. Which doesn't cut it for me.

The infrastructure is already in place, and working fantastically. I own 50gb of Skydrive space, and keep a ton of my media on there, streaming it to my Surface RT media player.
Azure is already faster than AWS by 40%, and second only to google's cloud service in terms of size. There is no more "need" for optimization, because MS' cloud is faster and more efficient than everything out there.

Can you come up with any objectively negative aspect of the console? Because I can't think of anything. Why should the people who have been pouring their efforts into it come out against it? Why should anybody?
This is just a logical step. MS has the infrastructure to do both B/C game streaming AND cloud processing on a massive scale, plus offering cheap and plentiful dedicated servers.
What does Sony have? The 300million dollar acquisition of a game streaming service?
Ms will always dwarf Sony as far as online infrastructure... which is where everything is heading.

According to MS, the Camera is more like $200. So, given that the XB1 isn't that much less powerful than PS4, lets say a 350 dollar console + a 200 dollar sensor.
that equals 550 dollars... for $500. seems right to me.
That's assuming that there are no more surprises left under the hood of the X1... credible tech-savy sources seem to think so. lack of information on the GPU plus a 1.2 billion+ investment over Sony in AMDs services...

Sure. Maxing out a console can't be that hard. You could probably write a simple line of code that chews up all of the processing power and does next to nothing.

Fair enough. But I would rebut:
1) I don't think this can count as a negative. In it's own right, the Xbox One is (I would argue) great value for the price. I've never bought anything that does so much for so little cash. The price tag says nothing about the console itself, other than that it's a high-end gaming machine.
