When I read about this, and considered the applications, this morning, I was very impressed.
Basically it's #1 function will be to hook up to a second screen in the house. Essentially enabling a single PS4 for two screens without having to move the console. Rather smart. MS is probably kicking themselves.

"Microsoft has reportedly cut the number of Xbox One game consoles it expects to ship in 2013 from 7 million units to 6.2 million units due to some supposed issues with component yield rates, but the software giant called the rumor "innacurate.""
Probably more like 7 million... in 2013.
Five? I've got one: because I want it.
Everything else is moot.
Gotta get a Sorny, or maybe a Panaphonics.
I'll say "ruvazagebvzchejar!" and jump through the ceiling.
Great article...
"So let’s say you’re driving around in a car, you smash it, you leave, go to the other end of the area, then come back–it’s all still there. So it becomes more your world that you can manipulate."
Love that. Brings whole new meaning to "returning to the scene of the crime".
This is a blatant and deliberate misinterpretation of what he said. I refuse to give this snivelling whorish creep waste of space of a journalist any web traffic.
If I win the lottery, hell yea.
"@ Heavy because its a waste of time to directly respond to you or most sonyfanboys EVERYTIME when EVERYTHING you say has been discussed to death. I mean you offered nothing new so nobody is obligated to refute what you say. "
Eventually you've got to ask yourself, what's the point?
Incredible game. Played it endlessly, don't think I ever finished it. Multiplayer mayhem... egg collecting game, lol. Rutheless.
Lol. I could do the same, with some serious overlap... but nah. I think it's safe to say that N64 hold the best gaming memories for me, and will likely continue to do so.
Waverace ahahaha gotta love it.
"* LoZ: Ocarina of Time "
*nods head*
@heavy
I didn't bash you? lol. Relax, budday!
I disagree, and I don't feel like discussing it. That would be tres tiring, n'est-ce pas?
TGIF
YEAH!
Wait... I mean... NO!
"focus".
hmm.
I see games that I like. I think that's pretty much all that matters.
Mass appeal is a good thing, me thinks.
"People have been brutally criticizing Microsoft for airing an Xbox One commercial without showing any videogames."
Oh, really? Quelle grand suprise!
People are obviously bored. Who cares? I thought the commercial was nifty! Some crazy camera angles.
One of my favorite N64 games was battletanx: global assault. Destructible environments, awesome multiplayer, amazing weapon and tank variety... this game had everything. I wish it had continued on.
I use it on my surface, and I love it. But I can see they are really pushing it, which is awesome.
I usually have it open while I'm playing, or use it to flick through netflix when I dont feel like hanging on to my controller and I'm on my Surface. Very useful!
Awesome, way more useful that the current smartglass app. Loving the ability to start matchmaking, and manage the dashboard.

:D
jks, looking forward to this as well.
Lol, you packaged up the savage hypocrisies with a neat little bow.
Anything but the truth will do, apparently.
