No.
Has anyone taken into consideration that she is a smoke-show.
She can run my gaming division any day...
I would x all over here box.
...annnnnnd so on.
I would like to see them consolidated under one "entertainment" division, hopefully with the Xbox brand at the forefront. Though, I think that's pretty much guaranteed.
The closer Xbox is tied to Windows 8 and Windows Mobile, the better. I would love to have all my devices feel like they are one and the same, with seamless sharing/app/game integration.
Xbox will never lose its importance. If anything, it pervades over their mobile/tablet devices...
Lol.... what the heck? This article said nothing.
I didn't see any merits to the PS3 version. The only REAL merit I saw, that will have any impact on game play, is the PSN vs XBL comparison... and Xbox Live was given the +.
So, how does this cement PS3 as the victor? Because you can use a headset, the Bluray drive, and "a harddrive".
ahahahahaha. Fanboy logic. N4G you complete me.
Why avoid a fun game because of principals?
Is it so horrible just to get and enjoy the free content? If you really wanted the game, you can always buy out the rest of the characters... but even that isn't necessary.
They are offering you a free sandwich, and your going to refuse because its not a steak? hmm.
3 characters, I think.
I'm excited for this game! I'm not a big fighting game junky by any means... the only Xbox360 fighting game I have is Fight Night Round 3... but this game looks like a ball!
Plus... FREE! I can see me and my only friend who plays games like me sinking some serious time into this.
You expect anyone to load 93 separate pages to look at 93 separate images?
Time to learn some HTML5.
Can't remember the last time I went premium or bought DLC. As far as I'm concerned, the "full" game is what gets packed in / is free. Everything else is gravy... and gravy aint free.
Alright... but MS has spent over 1b investing in games, and has a ton of studios (including their own studios) working on exclusive games for the Xbox One, and leveraging the cloud.
I don't understand why you're so quick to dismiss something with such exciting prospects? Is that cynicism?
I guess I just don't understand what you're trying to say. I see plenty of studios talking about XB1, talking about games, and talking about how the cloud ca...
I can definitely live with that.
"You mean the same pre-launch noise that forced MS to bendover and change their draconian policies?"
Thats exactly what I mean.
"people that make games and in that department MS is definitely lacking"
I would beg to differ. IMO, the games announced for XB1 are more interesting than those announced for PS4... not that I won't have both by the end of the holiday.
I love MS' first-party exclusives. Na...
I play Battlefield 3 on my 360. If there is a more refined shooter out there, I'll run out and buy it right now.
I think EA delivers great stuff. All that talent, all that money, all those studios... they are integral to the industry.
I don't see any possible way to love gaming and hate EA. That's like loving chocolate, but hating Hershey's.
Thanks! I try to articulate myself as clearly and concisely as possible.
Definitely passionate... my gaming experience is part and parcel with Xbox Live. Ever since beta testing the service in 2001, it has been fundamental to my gaming experience. I watched it grow from a wee lad to the leviathan service that's set to land in November.
12 years of refinement and I can hardly recognize it any more! To say I'm passionate may be an understatement :D
You need a cable connection for the TV features. But, no, you don't necessarily need cable. XB1 will hook up to any TV via HDMI, I think.
As far as whether or not you need a "cable box"... I have heard some noise that MS might have a slot on the box to insert a cable card... rendering the DVR box unnecessary.
Not even remotely confirmed, but I'm really hoping its true.
Catch up? lol... because of some pre-launch noise?
Typical Playstation "enthusiast" perspective. Dwelling on non-issues.
IMO, the only important game of "catch-up" being played atm is PSN trying to match XBL.
PSN will be roughly equivalent to XBL on the Xbox360, where as MS is pulling out all the stops for Xbox Live on Xbox One.
On top of their in-house, world-class cloud infrastructure, their offerings in...
Looks fantastic. Can't wait!
For the quality they are delivering, I'll fork over an extra 5.
I'm an Xbox fan, and even I'm about to kick that guy off a bridge. Might consider ignoring. He created his account today and senselessly trolls every article in favor of the XboxOne.
Hmmm... on the one hand, I love this news, because it means a lot more high-quality games for my RT Surface/XBLA.
On the other hand, one studio working on four F2P games simultaneously? They can't be AAA quality.... here's hoping at least one of them is an Xbox One multiplayer online game of some sort.
I don't really want to re-think what AAA means... unless they can deliver that AAA experience that I expect.
Then again, free...
For me, this gen isn't quite over yet. While I wish I could say the same as you, 5 months is a long time. We've got GTA5 and Splinter Cell Blacklist coming, two of what will likely be the best games of this generation.
Plus I'm not expecting my Xbox360 to break any time soon, so I'm not worried about investing in games.
