Xbox One will have remote play on a second screen. It can be done from any Smartglass device... which is awesome.

To popular sentiment? Because you know... the consoles aren't even out yet... and you can't play videogames on sentiment alone. It takes hardware and software, not to mention services.
With MS offering rock-bottom prices for their incredibly powerful servers... we can pretty much expect every major title to be fully supporter with dedicated servers.

This has no relevance to next-gen hardware sales. Both games are multi-platform.

Xbox and Xbox360 pushed online console gaming... sony is still catching up.
Now, this gen, MS has always been planning on a console with 8GB RAM, multiple inputs and unprecedented server support. Sony, on the other hand, picked up a game-streaming service at the last minute to tout as their "cloud", and added an extra 4gb of ram, and then ditched the camera to make their price point.
If I had to pick between the company that ahs been playing catchup...

Been loving this game. Luckily I got it on my Surface RT which came equipped with W8, so no need to upgrade anything.
Definitely the best game on my tablet. Don't know about replay value yet... but its looking good. No end in sight to the campaign, and I haven't hit the 3 star scores in most levels.
