That is definitely a good way to secure your victory.
Kinect is part of the package. It is not a forced peripheral, its an essential component. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves and spinning BS.
Lets hope morons let this issue lie sooner rather than later. Though, if they haven't gotten the message by now, they probably never will.
What it does, it does great. However, there are a few things it doesn't do, which adds credence to the competition.

Yeah, but at the end of the day consoles are compact, multilayer-friendly, transportable, standardized hardware with many years of guaranteed software support, without needing to worry about upgrades or graphic settings.
Easy, user friendly, built for a purpose, well supported, and conducive to local multiplayer. This is why consoles are great.
"Something that should/could be optional should not be treated like something mandatory. "
But it isn't optional. Its mandatory.
Its not a forced peripheral. Its an essential component.
It's time to come to terms with that.
Millions of unique human beings play Call Of Duty every single day.
That is all.
I always liked getting all shmamerred, hopping in a car and running down grannies.
The only group I can think of to answer your question is really really old people.
I'm ready. This is THE next gen game for me right now. 2014 can't come fast enough.
Nope, Kevin Bacon Wasn't in Footloose.
Yeah I was skeptical after the first level but it picks up fast. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks so.
How anyone can dismiss this game, I will never understand.
for me, this is THE next gen game right now.
Until I see something about the multiplayer, I refuse to even remotely humor this game.
Bigger servers, dramatically improved visuals, some new element of gameplay.... SOMETHING has got to give.
The Problem: Trying to set yourself apart from the competition.
The solution: Xbox One.
Kinect is an integral part of the system. Its not a forced peripheral. Its a component.

@malokevi That's a country mate, not a district :)
so your not in the states... or Canada... clearly not in Japan... and you have 5200 units allocated to your "country's" Gamestop?
It's very clear to me that you are lying.
If you buy into that stuff, and have the perspective that its part of the full game, then its your own fault.
People always complain about DLC. I don't understand it. it's not free to develop, so why should developers give it away for free?
The point is that devs keep supporting the game with content, and enthusiasts keep supporting the dev to expand their experience. Only people who see value in extra content should buy extra content. Its really that...
Spot of tea, please?
Good. I was worried for a sec. Holla from Oakville!
That's not possible. One location... 5200? Even if you were in the commercial district of a major city you wouldn't have that many units allocated to your store.
I don't believe you.
Yeah, after reading more about it yesterday, I'm definitely on board. Looks like QTEs will be a tiny part of it. Also they talked about online multiplayer... which could be awesome.
