From a hardware point of view the PS3 will always win over the 360. Their hardware is more stable, and for your price you get a Blu-Ray player and hard drive included (which is also easily upgraded too). They also showed off the most grapically impressive game at E3 in Killzone 2.
I see Game Trailers have based their hardware award on software, which is ok, but more open to discussion. While i have to say both have some good software on their sides, the third party side is almost...
Yeah, i was going to say the same thing. Hopefully the sniper aiming isn`t as bad as in K1 though, it was way too twitchy there just like in Time Splitters 2.
In fact i wish more of them were CGI. But this looked seriously crap. I`ve seen CGI-movies from several years back that looked better, not a good sign.
harry190, Yeah that would be awesome.
badboy808, listen to Figboy. Primal is a great game.
Glad to see the Thing there too, that was a pretty cool game, but not so well known i think. I would like to recommend people to try out Primal too.
Really hope Studio Cambridge can make a PS3 game soon, be it Primal or MediEvil.
ape007, well i don`t own a 360, but i certainly would like one for GOW2.
Highwayman, sorry for the pic. I thought it was kind of funny, but`ll use another one next time (maybe) ;)
As much as i would like to see Mass Effect on PS3, i agree with what you say. It`s still, kind of sad though hehe ;)
I though this would come to PS3, but i guess Microsoft has the publishing rights for the trilogy. I believe it`s a great game, so great news for Microsoft though.
Yeah, i found that strange too.
Well, i guess i`ll see how it turns out when the reviews are in then (if they`re consistent that is). A stable framerate is more important than improving the visuals for me, not that a visual upgrade wouldn`t be appreciated though ;)
I was going to pick it up if the port was good, and if this is to be believed, then my PS3 will get a Bioshock down it`s throat ;)
I thought the stuff we could see at Gamespot where people showed off their games more in-depth and answered questions about them was way better than the press conferences. Some of the "interviewers" were horrific though. Seems like Leipzig will be the place for announcements according to Reeves. I sure want to see HR (and just what the hell the mystery game is).
I would`ve guessed the Getaway or 8 days if they hadn`t been publicly shown already (and now axed of course). If it`s a UK based developer, then something from studio Cambridge maybe. They had an amazing graphics engine on PS2 in Primal, which was a very story based game too. Great game by the way.

I just want to play it so badly. The creativity and fun just seems overwhelming, and will probably be the game that can finally be calles the neverending story ;)
I`ll probably pick up all the other games as well, except for Gears 2. Wish i had a 360 so i could play it though, looks bloody great.
An exclusive agreement with NCSoft, creators of Guild Wars to deliver games to them. I though they was going to show off something, but the DC Comic game came instead. I think that would`ve been way more interesting, but maybe they`ll show some at Leipzig ?
Well, i think that`s cool. Always nice to have some titles that stands out from the rest of the bunch (in a good way that is).
I think that`s why i`m holding it before Far Cry at the moment, even though it seems very open and fun too.
I think he has grown up in the US if i`m not mistaken. He`ll agree he good in english though ;)
I`m between 3 FPS this year and i`m going to pick up 2 probably (already have COD4 and will probably pick up Killzone 2 in 09, so...)
R2, which is a given, and either Bioshock or Far Cry 2, If they pull of a good port, with a stable framerate, i think i`ll go for Bioshock though.
Looks like GTA the RPG, and that`s not a bad thing.
Seems like you can do a lot and have fun with. Hope it does well.
Seems very hectic and fun. Hope Valve at least let someone else (but please not EA) do make a PS3 port as well.
True, the PS3 is more complicated, but does that mean it`s not better ? If you had said that when the PS3 was just out, i think a lot of developers would`ve agreed. Not so sure they feel the same way now, as they`ve gotten more used to the PS3 instead of just porting stuff over. If you look at Sony`s first party lineup, you can clearly see they have better looking games than the 360.
Stable my ass ? So you claim 360 has less hardware failures than the PS3 ? Feel free to back it u...
