Yeah i was going to say the same thing. It wouldn`t be Snake without Hayters voice, even though Bale is a great actor (but i doubt i`ll do the part anyway).
The other advantage with it being CGI, is that they could get away with more i think. All the crazy bosses and robots etc is more accepted in such films.
The biggest challenge would have to be the length of it though. They would have to need at least 3 hours i think, and would probably have to cut out several bo...
I thought the second video was more of a parody of MGS, since he said this is a sneaking mission, but that`s just me. I havn`t played Rainbow Six all that much either, so maybe that`s why i feel it`s more MGS-related ;)
It was funny, regardless of how you look at it though ;) Battlefield BC has always had good trailers, so i hope the gameplay will be fun too.
EA`s games isn`t a consideration for me ;)
No, seriously that`s too bad. With the ability to use a mouse and keyboard on PS3, i would rather have it on PS3 than 360. Not sure how a game like C&C3 will do on consoles anyway, but more games is always good.
Hope they show it at E3, i want to see ;)
From what i`ve seen of Alone in the Dark , there`s no way in hell it can be a 3/10 game. I realize this may sound stupid since i havn`t played it myself, but i just can`t believe this would score so low. A 4 in graphics ? No way.
Guess it shows why i don`t have much faith in norwegian reviewers. Everything else in Norway is perfect though ;)I would wait for more reviews or even better, play the game for myself, before concluding how good or bad it is to be playing Alone in the D...
Which is great. The framrate seemed solid too, which is really important with all the explosions and stuff. If it`s as fun as Battlefield 2 on PC, then i might just pick it up.
But also ok to be able to back it up with something solid if you`re going to give MGS4 an 8 ;)
Thanks for the warning. I want to keep as much of the game hidden until i play it for myself.
The game isn`t too varied ? Strange.
Either way, won`t take the chance of seeing the video review in fear of spoilers.
I agree with you both. A site isn`t biased just because it dosn`t give your favorite game a 10. Seems some people have forgotten that a 9, or even 8 is a good score. If one game should get a 10 though, i`m sure MGS4 would be qualified for it.
But i do feel a lot of reviews aren`t very consistent with their reviews and subtract a lot more for some games over small issues, and let others slip by without remarks. I often feel that the score dosn`t always match the things they highl...
There are bad games...there are really bad games... and then there`s Hancock.
One about Gray Fox would be nice too ;)
That Sony is doing the MGS movie is not the reason MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. Sony Pictures makes Spiderman and Bond, but i don`t see Sony developing their games. It could`ve been part of the negotiations of MGS4 staying exclusive to PS3, but i think the MGS-PS legacy and Kojimas wish to make the best game he could and not having to worry about multiplatform development weighted higher.
I had almost didn`t remember it was going to be out this year.
Didn`t play the original, but heard it was great, so maybe i`ll pick it up if they`ve updated the gameplay enough to fit in with this generation.
Yeah i think LBP could have some difficulties in sales, but it boils down more to price and the current install base of the PS3. If LBP was out in a few years, it could`ve been easier to get more sales, but it could do alright, if it get`s a real market push or the word out between people. I feel a lot more people know and care about LBP than Viva Pinata, so we`ll see though. LBP has way more hype than Viva Pinata ever had, which could help it get more sales.
I think PS3 is looke...
1). Price obviously. PS3 needs to cost less if it`s going to appeal to a causal audience.
2). Let everyone on the little big planet of ours know about LBP. I don`t think Sony is good enough with the marketing generally, but hope they step up for this game. A video with the cool music the first look offered us should do.
The combat seems solid, the graphics are good, the level system should be interesting (thanks for the video comment THAMMER1), and the framerate appears steady.
In the first video on Xboxkings, the intro seemed cool, but when they came to the actual fighting, it just felt a bit...tame and uninspiring. If they get the story right and keep the gameplay varied (the biggest challenge in an action RPG) it should be fine though.
I`m a little worried about the controls as ...
Hehe, i was going to say the same thing ;)
Wish they had some subtitles in the video though, so i could`ve understood a bit more.
Yeah, i get what you`re saying. It would be like cheating in a way ;)
I think all will like MGS4, regardless of when they play it, but it`s always cool to know you`re not the only one playing a game and enjoying it. Nice to be able to discuss it with someone else too ;)I`m just concerned some moron who has played it will spill some of the twists in the story. As any MGS fan would know, that would not be appreciated.
I`m also a bit worried about the ending of MGS4. It...
Yeah, i`m with you on that. Hope they get a good director though, because a MGS movie will be hard to make. I would hate to see a Resident Evil kind of take on it, even though the story in RE isn`t as good as MGS either.
I hope they start with MGS1 (which i`m sure they will too), since it`s my favorite one so far. Havn`t completed MGS4 yet, so maybe that will turn out to be favorite in the end (even though i`m a bit disappointed with MGS4 story wise so far, so i don`t think so, ...
