I must disagree. Gears 2 is a third person shooter with a reliance of taking cover, while L4D is an arcade first person shooter with fast paced run`n gun shooting. It`s not the same thing at all.
PS3 has Resistance 2, while 360 has L4D as an exclusive FPS this year. I would rather have R2, but i think L4D seems like a fun game to play in co-op, so i hope it comes to PS3 eventually. I think it would probably sell better on 360 than PS3 as Mart said, but why shouldn`t they make som...
I guess that`s why i think it seems fun too. I think you could have a few hartattack moments with the sound turned up. For co-op i imagine it should be great fun too. I agree with the graphics looking sub-par, the the most important thing in such a fast paced shooter (or any shooter if you ask me) is a stead framerate, and this seemed rock solid.
Hope it makes it to PS3 so i can kill some zombies too :)

The environments seems cool, the color use appropriate, and Wahlberg isn`t a bad actor, even though they could`ve found someone more like Payne. I think it has potential to at least be decent, unlike a lot of other games-to-movies. Hope they exploit it to the max ;)
Yeah i agree. It`s a good idea, i just didn`t like the environment Hale was in. I`m between the first and second one ;)
I wouldn`t want more of GTA4 anyway. The story has cool in the beginning, but lost it`s way after a while. The AI is awful, the cover system is ok and the missions needs more variation. Wish Rockstar would rather make a new GTA game or at least address some of the complaints about GTA4. I know the game got high reviews, but it didn`t deserve them.
Hehe yeah, they actually get`s critisism for improving a product and adding more services. What`s next, the have too much variation in their games lineup ;)

The sound was great, gun jamming seemed a pain in the ass (in a good way), and the open world approach could be fun. This looks very cool but i`m not sure if i can afford all the great games this year, and i fear FC2 could be one of those i don`t pick up.
LBP, R2, Fallout 3 (although i might wait a GOTY eddition first), Mirror`s Edge, Bioshock, Star Wars: FU are on my list already, and i might go for Oblivion GOTY and Uncharted too.
Looks like Star Wars: FC, but better. Would be really cool if Raiden from MK could be a bonus character or something ;)

I do feel this is a game you have to play in order to get it. I mean when i heard about the controls and it being all context sensitive (and yes i`ve read IGN`s preview), i became a bit worried how this would all turn out.
Don`t get me wrong, this is without doubt one of my most anticipated games in 09, but i think i need to play it for myself in order to truly get it, being as stupid as i am etc ;)
After reading a negative preview i was a bit let down by this, but the gameplay seems forceful. Except for the boss battle. All it did was to stomp it`s foot. Didn`t help that the person playing has horrible with timed button presses though, i wouldn`t like to see him play GOW ;)
I think that`s the best way to describe K2`s multiplayer. The rpg-elements sounds great, the combination of badges sounds very interesting, the change in game modes on the fly could be very fun as well to keep everyone on their toes (suddenly you turn on your team leader or something hehe).
Hope the co-op stuff comes lather at some point, "just" a 2 player one would be great for me. I`m glad R2`s coming out this year, so it can satisfy some of the wait for K2 ;)
If this will turn out good or not. I think it could be hard to determine where you`re supposed to go at times and the FPS-view is one connected to action, so i guess it could turn out to be a love or hate affair.
I think it looks fresh and interesting, so i can`t wait to try it for myself.
Looks very scary too, great job on the atmosphere. Wonder how much of the game will be context-sensitive though, but i just want to see more rain after this.

Cool trailer, awful music. Almost made me mad, it nearly ruined it for me ;)
For me it looks to be very fast paced (gameplay and framerate) and while that perhaps can`t be called a "groudbreaking factor", i would say a 8 player co-op with this would be very cool. Add a great looking single player with a good art design and a fragfest online, and you got the reasons why i`ll buy this over COD5 and Far Cry 2 this holiday. Might pick up Bioshcok and Mirror`s Edge (less likely) too though, cause they seem so different from other FPS games.
Looks interesting, although i`m a bit unsure how fun it would be in the long run. Still, hope it makes it to Europe too.
I can understand complaints about the setting, which i wish was more backwards in time. The only ninjas that`s cool in an modern times is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after all ;) I havn`t tried Otogi 3, so i don`t know that much about From Software except they made a bad PS2 title launch title, but then again who didn`t ?
Looking forward to seeing some in-game stuff, hopefully at TGS.
