I would like to see an article about Ninja Theory where they are not passing the buck and shitting on Heavenly Sword for whatever reason. If Enslaved is a critical success and sells like garbage what are they going to do then?
An auto-tweet feature would be pretty cool but really Fbook and Twitter integration isn't that important and I am having trouble understanding why this article makes it out like it is the be all, end all of socializing.
Nor is it coming out early next year unless SE is going to drop a bomb at TGS and say it will be.
I'm hoping for a smidgen of a reveal at Gamescom for Uncharted 3 and I would love to see Naughty Dog tackle Lemuria or Atlantis because their attention to detail is so great. Actaully I would like to see Insomniac do a reveal at Gamescom also if they don't show anything substantial at PAX Prime.
UC2 was announced in 2008 so really the first teaser for Uncharted 2 should be happening in the next couple of months because they'll want to show a little something off at GDC in the Spring and then take the lid off entirely by E3 for a release in October or November. However, if Modern Warfare 3 comes out in November then Uncharted 3 will likely drop in October so as to avoid sales being cannibalized by Call of Duty sales, similar to what they did with Uncharted 2.
I still love this game, so much so that if they added some trophies/achievements I would buy it as is without a remake. This was the second Final Fantasy game I had ever played and it was so fun that it's faults can be easily forgiven.
@NecrumSlavery
They could easily fit HD remastered versions of all Final Fantasy games to FFVI, maybe through to FFIX, on one 50gb BD, and it would be awesome. I would happily pay an above average price for remasters of all of my favorite Final Fantasy games. However it would be more logical for them to do it in trilogies, such as FFMQ-FFIII(not really a trilogy this one), FFIV-FFVI, FFVII-FFIX, FFX/X-2 and FFXII. I think my gaming life would be forever ruined if they did t...
How awesome was Avatar that the article only mentioned it being on the X360 like it was exlusive? Must have been a really awesome game, probably would have been better on the Gamecube, or maybe the NES.
Not neccessarily. If Sony timed the price cut for November second and the launch of GT5 and Kinect it would rain on Microsoft's parade a great deal. Assuming for a moment that Kinect will be $150, a $199 PS3 would look like the much more attractive option especially if it's bundled with the Move at that price. Even a meager profit is a profit and Move will likely make a profit at launch since the Eyetoy probably diesn't cost much to make anymore, and the Wand is just a controller ...
I just want the next Disgaea to look as good as it plays on a PS3. Disgaea 3 was fantastic but it looked like a freakin' upscaled PS2 game.
Just imagine playing Mario, or a Mario type game with Kinect for just a minute and you'll be worn out. I know that's not the point of the article but I imagined that for just a second and started getting short of breath.
You are as delusional as the guy that wrote this article. Someone posted a feature list a few comments up so print it out or One Note it all and then compare it to Forza. For a racing sim Forza is good but Gran Turismo is the king and will stay the king because it is truly complete.
What's it like on/in Europa,I bet it's fickin' cold!? I agree with the SonicCD sentiment though as well as NiGHTS coming.
I don't dislike Greenberg all that much because it's his job to mouth off to the press. I cannot stand Don Mattrick though, I hate his face and wish every year that he will fall off the stage at E3. But I digress that's not the point of the article. The only problem I had with the article is him specifically mentioning Insomniac like they were responsible for getting them to make a multi-platform game and they are no longer making PS3 games. Wording it differently would have been ...
I think we all know that next year won't be the year of the PS3 because it will be the year of the PS4. I mean, really, everyone already knows that.
The entire article is fundamentally flawed because it assumes that a four person family will actually use four controllers or actually play at the same time. I have a five person family, and we have never played with more than two people at once. Four people playing at the same time would be a pain on or off screen and I can't stand up for long periods and play games so that automatically disqualifies Kinect from being useful in my household since I am the primary gamer. My initial Move i...
I would venture a guess that Insomniac will have a large showing at GDC next year because waiting until E3 would be ridiculous. I was disappointed that they didn't show at E3 this year but they have a rather large presence at GDC usually so that's where I would expect Insomniac to show R3 and maybe even the next Ratchet and Clank.
As for TGL it will probably be at TGS since now a lot of the Move and 3D stuff has been presented. It's the best market to showcase ...
This is really not that big of a deal. Has Sony even finalized the product for launch? Nobody..... The Move knock of doesn't have the tracking ball on it, if they were trying to shunt that part of the feature into a Wii like sensor there is no possible way they could get it to work right. It is also possible these clowns have no actual work prints to build a knock off with, they probably tried to use a Wiimote for the obvious basis so they could get it out early. It would be like them try...
I think it's completely possible that the prototypes they sent out for devs could have different codenames attached to each one. That way if it gets leaked and the company isn't mentioned by a web outlet, Sony would know where it came from. It would also allow them to test the waters of internet like/dislike to see which name is preffered. If it were between the two I would prefer Arc, but that's just me.
As long as all of the versions of motion control lead to some sort of hologram device in the next five years I don't really care what it does. If they can marry all of their devices, I don't care which company, and it can deliver a holographic image that can be maniuplated with my hands, I don't give a shit who makes it. Just a simple reason for why I could use a hologram projector that allows me to manipulate the image is a globe of Mars. I need a Martian globe for research that ...
