I'm just telling you what most people have as a perception of the Vita. Sure I know a lot of the Sony guys will disagree, but that is the major perception of the Vita.
The 3DS simply has more games that people want to play on the go. Vita is doing horribly no matter what way people try to spin it. I just told you the reason it's doing so bad.
I think most people's problem (and mine too) with the Vita is that most of those games you listed that are coming out are much better when played on consoles. The Vita is basically a portable console.
When I play handheld games,I want to play handheld games. Not console games. This is one of the reasons why the 3DS has been so successful. It doesn't try to be something that it's not. It doesn't try to imitate a console.
He said no to Rome: Total War 2?
ROFLMFAO
It's now a dishonored video lol
Well OnLive was a very risky investment, especially when the technology for streaming games efficiently isn't really there yet. There's much more of an incentive to buy the game instead.
4D confirmed.
*wakes up*
What's that, I must have been dreaming of delusional people hyping things up again.
You and Timmy there joined on the same day, what a coincidence.
I've talked to modders on the official Bethesda forums who said that it will take years for them to get around the limitations and bugs as well.
Lots of game companies don't do it because nowadays it's become bad for business.
They want to control everything about their game, and milk the hell out of it with DLC. Hell, even Skyrim modding tools were apparently very limited compared to past modding tools.
Hopefully the don't casualize the hell out of it like they did with Skyrim... I actually want to think, Bethesda.
Maybe Valve? That would be interesting...
That was funny, but I think his error would be referred to as a typo.
Yeah good thing, IGN just confirmed it was fake now. Just wondering, did Kotaku start this story? If so, they have lost all credibility to me.
IGN:
"Anonymous has deleted the Tweet claiming that it hacked the PSN. You can see the image of the Tweet as it existed in the original story below.
We're still waiting to hear back from Sony, but the removal of the Tweet is probably all the confirmation we need that this was fake. We'll u...
So it's completely fake?
What the hell is up with these stupid journalists nowadays, I was convinced that since so many websites were reporting it, the story had weight... complete BS.
It's an assumption based on rumors apparently, so it has a good chance, but isn't confirmed.
Although Dragon Age 3 most certainly will be there, because Bioware has been talking about it.
Doomed? More like denial that Sony is becoming bankrupt. Their only remaining profitable industries are the TV and cameras branch. I know some of you want to believe that Sony is doing just fine, but the facts would beg to differ.
And no it's not Sony hate, it's the truth.
I disagree, the industry is quickly moving to a digital based marketplace.
Although this is mainly with things like music, videos, and PC games, console gaming is starting to go along with the trend.
"souls is a console game"
Not anymore, buddy :D
I would just hate to see the developers limit themselves so greatly in the sales department by becoming a PS3/PS4 exclusive because Steam would allow From Software to shovel in a ton more money (because it costs so little to distribute vs retail box games.)
Face it, console developers want some of that Steam cash.
Hopefully the next game they make is developed for the PC and ported to consoles, much easier that way.
Definitely loved Demon's Souls.
Dragon Age: Origins and Fallout: New Vegas are in my top 10. In my opinion, Skyrim was far too dumbed down and casualized to even be called an RPG, let alone rank in the top 100. It's more like an action-adventure game with weak RPG elements.
