Probably! I certainly won't be one of the 5 million.
I'll probably pick it up in the bargain bin based on the footage they've shown.
No it really isn't even possible. For one, scaling the world down defeats the purpose of Arma (and DayZ for that matter). There's also a lot of computing that is done like ballistics and other realistic physics, AI etc. because Bohemia Interactive are after all the developers of a similar engine that they sell to the Military.
Seriously, believe me when I say it, Arma 2 will never run on consoles (at least this gen)... ever.
I know some people aren't really into PC's but just to give everyone a heads up, Arma 2 will never run on a PS3 or any console unless you want to browse the most complicated user interface with a controller and play a slideshow.
Maybe they didn't like the way the game was going?
I've been with them too, playing demos and trials that is ;)
To be frank, it's an Uncharted clone.
I mean lets just be honest here, it revolutionized the cinematic TPS genre, and a lot of developers are looking to be the next Uncharted. Just like nearly every FPS is trying to be the next COD.
It didn't even look that good IMO. Just basically cinematic button mashing and your usual 3rd person combat. Don't get me wrong, I like that, but you have to wonder why every TPS is trying to be like this now. It's...
Lol dude... I feel kind of bad laughing at that though.
On top of it being only 4 hours, it looks really boring.
The only way I could possibly think why this game is getting 9s is because of the sex aspect.

360 isn't the weakest link, it is a fact that it is doing much better than the PS3.
That doesn't mean it IS better, that's subjective, but it certainly is selling more.
I think your actually right. People always say BS like "I will never do that" or "this type of thing will never catch on" but then in 5, 10, 15 years it does because anything can and will change whether someone likes it or not.
It's a good possibility that in the future (15+ years) that game developers could entirely stop distributing their game files and only release their game on a cloud streaming service. Now obviously this is here say, but you neve...
This is exactly what I was going to say. The reason there will be no more consoles in the future isn't because the hardware will be maxed, it will be because it will get beat out by new technology such as OnLive.
I think PC's will still be alive though, because if internet does get a lot faster, downloading PC games will be faster. It could be the dominant gaming style since I believe there will still be problems with OnLive and steaming games because of latency.
Mhmm, I remember when Splinter Cell games had stealth...
For 8GB of memory it better be that price, or even lower. It seems to me that the main tablet controller is what is taking up the majority of the price.
Well I know were arguing about console services here, but Steam beats the hell out of paying $60 a year for Live, and it's FREE.
The features in live do not justify the pricing, no matter which way you spin it.
I reckon that they could keep it this low because it is rumored to have only 8GB of internal storage memory.
Try going into towns.
Well that's what happens when you print and spend too much money, and have a severe lack of competition in the markets.
F2P P2W seems like the future of gaming. Knowing THQ though, there will be massive amounts of DLC.
Not if your playing The Last of Us.
This isn't good news for the future of Thief 4...
