I was used to COD4 controls. I changed to Alternate 2, and I was happy.
To be honest, it has been a while since I played CoD4, so I dont remember the whole layout. But the Zoom (L1) and Shoot (R1) buttons are the same as COD4 with Alternate 2 (if memory serves me correct).
Zoom and Shoot buttons are the most important for me, the rest I can just get used to.
The Aim (L1) and shoot (R1) buttons are also the same for MGS4 (which I play alot), so Alt...
I used Alternate 2 as well.
L1 is for precision aim/Zoom, R1 is for shoot.
I am Dutch too. I didnt pre-order this game. I will probably pick it up on the day of release. Or pre-order it a couple of days before the release.
Eight days please.
There were only 2 games so far this generation that I was hyped for. One of them was MGS4, the other was Eight Days.
I was really disappointed when I read Eight Days was canceled.
I havent played a Resi game before. I played the Resident Evil 5 demo and didnt like it. It's the controls.
I have a question about Street Fighter 4. Will the game be released on the PSN/XBL as well as on disc like Warhawk did? Or will SF4 be disc only?
I have a question about Street Fighter 4. Will that game be released on the PSN/XBL and available on Blu-ray/DVD like Socom will do? Or will SF4 only be soled on disc?
This happened to me on COD4. I got the highest level 54 or something (without going for prestige) and then never played it again. Gave the game away little while after. Didnt bother buying COD5.
My only hope is that I dont have to buy a new tv to make use of this 3D technology.
Actually, if MS wants to get money for their service provided with live, they can go for it, no problem.
But I think it sucks that you have to pay a monthly fee to play a game's online component. I mean, I allready bought the game and paid for the game's online and offline components, so I should've been able to play the game online without any hassle.
If I buy the same game for PC I dont have to pay any additional costs to play it online. PC is considered an MS ...
@Guiltyspark
Not sure what you think of me, but Kojima really should stay making platform exclusive games, regardless of platform. Lets face it, platform exclusive games > multi-platform games.
This is the only game developer I am actually a fan of. Whichever platform he goes, I go. So excuse me for wanting my favorite dev to keep doing what he has been doing, instead of selling out just to get a few dollars more.
Yeah, I guess you are right, I ...
Not sure I like where this is going man. I really hope Koji wont go multi-platform. We allready have enough devs making multi-platform games.
Keep making exclusive games Koji!!! And keep the Japanese feel/atmosphere in your games!!! Quality over Quantity Kojima!!!!!
Question to Kojima:
Why try to fix something that isn't broke???
What the hell? MGS4 didnt even get nominated for best story? What the hell have those guys at gametrailers been smoking?
Any review scores for this game yet?
FPS games can rot for all I care (harsh statement I know, but it's more of a figure of speech). I dont like FPS games.
I am gonna buy Killzone 2 though, but imo Killzone 2 would've been a much better game if it had a 3rd person option. The only reason I want KZ2 is because of graphics and production value really.
I do want games to have a First Person View option however, so you can line up a headshot perfectly. MGS series have been doing this since MGS2 and that...
Ninja Gaiden has the better fighting mechanic.
You missed Nathan's joke.
You cant buy all the costume's and level packs with 1 purchase?
You have to buy the 4 costume's and the level pack seperate?
I very much doubt he is working on an FPS (and yes, I am aware that he visited western dev's that make FPS games).
