This game is looking pretty good. I am seriously considering buying a 360 for this game. Need to see more footage though and maybe wait for user and gamingsite reviews. If I feel like SC:Conviction is worth a purchase of a new console, I will get it.
I am not much of a gamer, I dont buy many games but I do check gaming news quite frequently. I allready have a PS3, so buying another console would be overkill for me.
Lightning Bolt Action? My expectation isnt high for Rising.
I am a big MGS fan and I will pick Rising up the day it releases, but I dont expect it to outdo MGS4 for 2 reasons.
1. Kojima isnt working on it, so it might not have the Kojima feel to it. However, I hope the guys working on Rising know and understand Kojima's philosophy and hopefully it will have the 'atmosphere' and quality that Kojima games always have.

I think both of these are just gimmicks.
I cant really see how you could play elaborate games like Uncharted, Assassin's Creed etc. And that is what's important imo. If you cant play these games with motion controls than I dont see the point for motion controlled games.
Hmmm, maybe you can play FPS games with the Sony one's.
But cant you allready do this FPS thing with the Wiimote, like how they did at the Sony conference today?

Guys, guys. God of War 3 looked great (gonna get it for sure), but imo so far, best game shown on EU is Uncharted 2.
Did you see the action? Running from building to building, climbing, shooting people, dodging a Hind D (helicopter gun ship), enjoying the scenery, desperately looking for a place to take cover, the building your in crumbling down. In 1 word.... WOW!!!

I am a major MGS fan but I am disappointed with this news though.
I have a PSP, I bought it when MGS portable ops came out, but I dont like gaming on it, I find it really uncomfortable (not to mention the second analog stick). Whenever I game on it, I think it is a waste of talent and manhours and wished it would've at least be a PS2 game.

I doubt it. You also see the mask on the MGS5 Next teaser page. Look at the bottom right, the Kojima productions logo morphs into the mask.

They shouldnt waste there resources on a PSP game imo. Instead the original team that made MGS4 should concentrate on MGS5 and the MGO (MGS4 online) team should concentrate on MGS5 online.

If it really was MG1 and MG2 remake, then Big Boss would have Foxhound logo on his beret (for MG1 at least).
I guess it is possible he would wear the "Militaires sans frontiers", but why wont he wear the Outer Heaven (not Haven) logo then? However, if you translate it, it says: Militaries without borders. This line is definately within the Philosophy of Outer Heaven though. It might be a parralel to Outer Heaven.

Nobody said it's "1 for PSP and 1 for PS3".
The interview of Kojima is in Famitsu PS3+PSP, that's why many people get confused into thinking that there is 1 PS3 and 1 PSP game.
It is probably just 1 PS3 game only.
I also doubt it is MGS4 DLC though. The renders of Big Boss and Raiden look better than the renders of Old Snake and Raiden from MGS4. Plus I dont think they wouldnt tease as much as they did just to anounce DLC.

I really hope they are not making a PSP game. Gaming on portable devices is simply not comfortable.
Wasnt the Famitsu translation saying that the game was in 2 time periods? So, its 1 game that covers 2 time periods with maybe (probably) 2 playable characters.
I hope its not for PSP though. Its uncomfortable gaming on PSP and I rather have Kojima pro working on a console game instead of wasting there time on a handheld game.

I was hoping the PS3 slim would have this feature. I am seriously contemplating replacing my current PS3 with PS3 slim (not because of this little feature tho, but becuase of the less power it uses).
