What the heck are you talking about? No difference in game modes? MGO has the most unique game modes out there, and it will have 3 more game modes added. MGO is not as slow paced as you think, yeah, it is not a shooter (we allready have enough of those), but it is definately not slow paced.

I saw commercials for LBP, Motorstorm 2, Mirror's Edge. I see them quite often. I also remember seeing a Singstar commercial but I am not sure if it was for PS2 or PS3.
Also alot of X360 commercials for Fallout 3, Geow 2 (just one time tho, probably because they only show it late at night), LIPS, NFS Carbon and an X360 commercial advertising that the price is 149 ...
I was really looking forward to 8 days. It really sucks it got canceled. I hope they will realise that they made a mistake and start development of 8 days again.
I dont think the PS3 will get a price-cut during the holidays.
The PS3 has a great line-up of games, it can survive the holidays without a price-cut. Remember, Sony is seeing this race as a marathon.

Ghandi, I dont know if you realise that PS3 still outsold the 360 YTD with 50000 units according to NPD numbers. Ofcourse not sure what will happen in the last 2 months of 2008.
But it is worrying for MS that the PS3 can keep up with the 360 despite the high price of PS3. Plus Sony still have the pricecut-card up there sleeve.

In 2008, in North-America the PS3 has autsold the 360 by 50600 units including the October NPD numbers. So, PS3 is doing fine if you look at what Microsoft had to to do achieve this months numbers (price-cut).
Just add all of the X360 and PS3 2008 NPD numbers together and you'll see the PS3 still sold more than 50600 units.

I know Ken Kutaragi has his own dev company now, which is being financed by Namco Bandai and Sony. I heared he was working on 3 PS3 exclusive games.
Infact, I remember in famitsu there were some scans revealing 1 or 2 of these titles.
It's not my type of game, but I did order this game. My nephew's who come over occasionally will love this.

Yeah, Wardevil was supposed to be multi-plat. Dont know why it was dropped for 360.
What I do know is, Wardevil will be the first game that will be actually 1080p. I think this game will look even better than Killzone 2. Killzone 2 uses a rendering technique called 'deferred rendering'. But from what I know, Killzone 2 is a 720p game (not sure).

If you liked MGS4 single-player. Then you should go on MGO and play the Sneaking-mode (SNE mode). If you become Snake (computer picks randomly), then it is the same gameplay as single-player but multiplied by 10, lol. I love SNE mode.
It is hard to be Snake though, since everybody know what to look for, but thankfully, there are 2 sides fighting eachother, so alot of time you as Snake go unnoticed.
