I much rather play as Solid Snake or Big Boss over The Boss.
I'm not looking forward to playing as The Boss tbh. In my oppinion there are way more cooler characters then the Boss. Gray Fox, Solidus, Revolver-Ocelot and Liquid. I would much rather play as any of them over the Boss.
And I am not really a fan of past settings either. Playing as The Boss would mean the game has to be set before the 1960's.

Nah, it's Yoji Shinkawa's art style. I think he uses this style for every game, but dont quote me on that though.
It could be MGS, but the first thing that came to mind was ZOE though.

The feet and tale reminds me of ZOE, but I just noticed the sword in her hand. I dont know where that could be from (I never played the Castlevania game).
I personally dont like to see MGS going to the WW2 era. I prefer it to be in the modern era instead.
I want the present day weapons to be in the game, like m4 etc. In MGS3 for instance I did miss those weapons eventhough I did enjoy MGS3 alot and is one of my favorite games ever.

The engine being called fox doesnt necessarely mean future MGS titles going Multi-platform. Kojima production's logo is a FOX logo from MGS3.
The Japanese Kanji logo for the Fox engine is from MGS4.

When COD4 released, it didnt really have much competition at the time. Especially for Online gaming.

Meh, playing as the Boss wouldnt be my first choice. That would mean we would have to go back to WW2 era or early Cold war era.

Would love to play as Big Boss though. Peace Walker also made you miss out on modern weapons, but it wasnt that bad though.

Metal Gear Solid (PS1) has an easter egg that I recently found out on youtube.
When you get to the field where you face Sniper Wolf. If you go all the way to the left and go first person view, you can see Liquid Snakes parachute. If you call Campbell you'll have a conversation about the posibility if Liquid survived.
PW is not MGS5, but it is not a spin-off either. Or that what I think at least.
Touch screen is cool and all, but a second analog stick is make or break imho.
The thing about David Hayter is, I read somewhere that he was going to direct a Hollywood movie (cant remember the name).
